storybrooke, the town full of cursed fairytale creatures, was waking up. regina's final and most deadly attempt at getting the swan twins to leave the town, was the one that ensured her downfall. or the downfall fo the curse she had cast on them all.

henry, who had eaten the poisoned apple that regina gave to ophelia, had been awoken by true love's kiss. the light kiss ophelia had placed on his forehead had been enough to save him and the town.

despite it all, ophelia maintained the opinion that surely emma should be the saviour, after all, isn't a mother's love stronger than an aunt's? nevertheless, the curse was broken and there was a purple mist travelling rapidly through the town and ophelia, emma and henry were watching it from the hospital.

"what is that?" ophelia muttered, watching it consume everything.

slowly, the mist lifted and the town seemed normal again. well, as normal as a town full of fairytale characters could get. the only difference: they now had magic too.

the group left the hospital in search of mary margaret and david, their apparent parents. and mary margaret was their current roommate. the whole thing really complicated the situation.

ophelia halted in her spot, seeing her supposed parents, watching the scene unfold in front of her. she didn't really want to announce her presence.

"now i find my daughters," mary margaret told the small group.

emma stepped forward, "so, it's true."

mary margaret and david slowly approached the twins. the former placed a hand on each of the women's cheeks before her face contorted and she embraced them as she cried.

ophelia appreciated it was probably an extremely emotional moment for her but she could have really done without the hug.

"you found us," she cried before david joined the hug.

okay, she definitely could have done without the hug.

ophelia didn't move, frozen in her spot. she reluctantly placed an arm around them, patting them both gently.

"grandpa?" henry spoke up, causing mary margaret to laugh through her tears and slowly pull out of the hug.

ophelia stepped back.

"yeah, kid. i suppose so," david answered, hugging the boy.

henry shifted so he could see his aunt, "auntie ophelia did it. she saved you."

"she saved all of us," mary margaret praised, eyes never leaving the younger twins' face.

ophelia grimaced at the praise, trying to come up with a response, only to stutter out half a sentence and she was sure it wasn't even coherent.
