chapter seven - anger issues

ophelia sighed in relief when they finally arrived at rumplestilskin's cell. she was getting really tired of the amount of walking they had to do. she hated to admit it, but she missed having a car. sure, it wasn't the best mode of transportation since it wasn't great for the environment but it definitely wasn't her fault the planet's condition was as bad as it was. that was the big corporations.

"rumpelstiltskin's cell," snow announced. "i haven't been here since before regina's curse. this is where he told us you were going to be the saviour."

ophelia frowned, turning towards the woman, "he knew?"

"it was prophesized. come on," she stated.

"no pressure there," ophelia murmured, watching mary margaret move into the cell as if she hadn't just told her that her entire life was planned for her. nothing she did mattered, she was made to break the curse.

they entered the cell. ophelia glanced around, grimacing at the area. she began looking for the squid ink, not that there were many places it could be hidden.

"the squid ink, it's not here," aurora voiced.

snow kept trying to find it, "gold said we would find it."

again ophelia and emma began searching, for anything. any sign of this ink that was meant to help them.

"well, was there anyone else in here with him? could they have taken the ink?" mulan questioned.

aurora found a piece of parchment hidden in a crack in the wall. she began pulling it out.

mary margaret shook her head, "no, he was kept alone. visitors were forbidden. he was too dangerous to allow any human contact."

"how'd he keep from going crazy?" emma retorted.

aurora looked at the parchment she had found, "he didn't."

everyone turned their attention to aurora, who was reading the small scroll.

"what is it?" mary margaret asked.

emma stepped forward, "is that a message?"

aurora turned to ophelia, who was staying oddly silent since her head was still reeling from the news that her life was basically plotted out for her, "yes. and I think it's for you."

ophelia took the paper from her outstretched had as she spoke, "why would you think..." she paused as she saw her name written over and over. "that." she frowned, tilting her head as she analysed her name, pulling out the parchemtn further. "okay, yeah he was completely whacked out. is that really how you spell my name? it looks wrong. kinda gross."

she took the paper and sat down on a small rock, "what does this even mean?"

the others had continued their search, mary margaret even climbing the wall.
