five - sword fighting zombies

ophelia was exhausted. she'd climbed a beanstalk, ran through the castle and then climbed back down a beanstalk before continuing their journey and taking the first watch. all of this right off the back of defeating a dragon, saving henry, waking up a town of fairytale characters and trying to stop regina from being killed. god, she wanted a break.

however, when aurora woke with a start and informed the group that while in her dream she had spoken to a boy, with the name henry, ophelia suddenly didn't feel so tired anymore. in fact, she was wide awake, the anxiety swelling inside of her and filling her with adrenaline.

everyone crowded around the princess.

emma held up a picture of henry, asking if that was the boy aurora had seen. aurora confirmed that it was.

"that's impossible. it was a dream. how could you dream of my son?" emma questioned as mary margaret stood.

"i have no idea."

"maybe it wasn't a dream," mary margaret suggested.

emma turned to the woman, standing up, "what?"

ophelia's eyes widened as she realised what ophelia, snow and henry all had in common, "the sleeping curse."

no one heard her.

"that room, i've been there," she informed.

"when i told you about it, you didn't say anything," aurora accused.

mary margaret shrugged slightly, "you were terrified. i didn't want to make things worse by telling you i thought it might be real."

"a room in a dream is real?" mulan asked.

"the sleeping curse. it has to be. i went through it, aurora went through it..." she trailed off.

ophelia knew where she was going, "henry's been through it because i wouldn't believe him."

she'd barely been in henry's life and she was already messing it up. she was a mess. she wasn't good enough to be his aunt. she was doing what she did with everything. she'd hurt henry. she'd hurt him just like she hurt hayley.

mary margaret reached out for her daughter, who flinched away.

"ophelia." ophelia glanced to mary margaret as she spoke. she didn't reply.

"what else did you lie about?" aurora demanded.

"i was— i wasn't lying. i was protecting you," mary margaret defended.

emma was desperate to know if her son was okay, "what did he say? henry? in the— in the dream?"

ophelia felt the guilt deep in her stomach at her sister's words.
