Meredith's Pov.

I don't know why I admitted that to Addison. Was there something wrong with me for thinking of her when I had a husband, and when he just died not even six months ago? She invited me over for an evening of relaxation. I drove to the address she gave me earlier in the day. I got out of my car and walked to the door. I knocked twice and the door opened.

"Hey Mer!" Naomi said.

"Hi Nai" I said. She motioned me inside and walked into the kitchen.

"Hello Meredith" Violet said. Was the whole practice here?

"Hi, Where's Addie?" I asked.

"She will be down in a moment" Violet said. A moment later Addison walked into the living room.

"Hey!" She said. She came over and gave me a hug. "The fire is going, Mer you wanna join us?" She asked.

"Yeah sure, but can I use the bathroom first?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's upstairs to the right" she said.

"Thank you, I will be right out" I said. I walked up stairs and went to the bathroom. My phone buzzed.

'Meredith please, just tell us you are alive and okay!' Lexie typed. I ignored the message just like I always did. I washed my hand and walked out of the bathroom. I didn't make it to the porch before she video chatted me. I had gotten tired of it so I answered the call.

"Lexie please stop calling, I am fine and so are the kids!" I said.

"Where are you Mer?" She asked. I didn't answer, I just hung up the call. It brought tears to my eyes.

"Hey, don't cry" Addison said. She grabbed my face and wiped the tears away. I had the urge to kiss her but I wouldn't.

"I'm sorry" I said. She placed a finger over my mouth.

"Don't apologize" she said. She cupped my face and kissed me. Kisses with her were always passionate and real. This kiss lasted for 30 seconds and then she pulled away. "I love you Mer" she said. It brought a smile to my face.  We walked outside and sat by the fire.

"LA is beautiful" I said.

"It truly is" Violet said. She looked over at me and Addison and smiled. She could read us. I knew that she knew, I just had a feeling she did. But I didn't care.
