Addison's Pov.
The day she left Seattle.
Meredith still hadn't woken up. I didn't know if she ever would wake up. I had visited her everyday since the accident happened. Today was going to be the last visit though, and it would also be the last time o saw her. When I got to her room she was alone. I walked in and closed the door. The blinds had already been shut so nobody would see me in here.
"I know you can't hear me, but I wanted to tell you goodbye" I paused. "It's not that I want to leave you, but I don't know if I will ever get you back" I said firmly. I finally moved over to her bedside. I sat right beside her in the chair. "I grew to love you and I never though that I would, I know that you are supposed to stay with the one that you love when they are sick or dying.... but you will break me if you die and I am still here" I paused once more.
"I'm going to miss you the most Meredith" I said strongly. "And who knows, but if you can hear me and you wake up from this nightmare, come and find me" my voice broke as I spoke the next few words to her. "Come and find me because I can't live without you, I need you in my life, you make me whole" hot tears streamed down my face. I stood up and placed a kiss on her lips. It was soft but I held onto it for a moment. "I love you, and I will always be here for you, even if" my voice broke again. "Even if you don't survive this" I said.
I walked out of the room and headed to the locker room. I had just told her that I loved her. What I didn't know was that Meredith wasn't alone. Her mother had been in the bathroom listening to every word I said. I placed a note in her locker and left. She didn't know it but I would spend the rest of my life thinking about her.
