Chapter thirteen.

Addison's pov.

"I'm going to go to the coffee cart and get some coffee, okay?" I said.

"Yeah, here" He said handing me a 20.

"I don't need this but thank you" I said. I tried handing him the bill.

"Keep it, use it to buy yourself lunch today" he said. He kissed my cheek softly and walked into the hospital. I walked over to the coffee cart around the corner.

"Why did you do it?" Meredith's said as she popped around the corner.

"He was with holding sex and you were the closest thing to him" I said.

"You tasted like him, so I doubt that" she said bitterly. "You tasted like scotch, he always  drank scotch"

"I had some of his!" I roared.

"That still doesn't make it right that you did it" she said.

"You didn't stop me, Plus you seem like you liked it" I said.

"That doesn't matter, I think anyone who hasn't  had sex in months would enjoy it" she said.

"You still enjoyed it, Meredith" I said. "Can I get a Soy Vanilla Latte please?" I asked the man running the coffee stand.

"Sure thing, and what can I get for you?" He asked.

"A regular Vanilla Latte please" She said. She handed him a five.

"You knew what you were doing, how is that?" She asked avoiding what I said.

"Stop avoiding the statement" I said. We got our coffees and started back to the hospital.

"I-I, I told you, I haven't had sex in months and you clearly knew what you were doing" she said.

"Whatever" I said. When we entered the hospital we went our separate ways.

"Did I just see you walk in with Meredith Grey?" Bailey asked.

"I apologized to her for what happened the other day" I said.

"Ok, that is good, she is back on your service then" Bailey said.

"No Miranda I don't think that is the best option" I said.

"You said you apologized right?" She asked.

"Yes bu-"

"Then she is your intern now, nothing more" she said. She turned and walked through the ER. Breathe, just keep your calm.
