Chapter thirty-nine.

Addison's Pov.
One week later.

"Mer, your incision is healing perfectly" I said. "You should be able to go back to Seattle tomorrow" I added. Her face dropped. I didn't want her to leave but she had to.

"I don't want to go back to Seattle, I want to stay in LA with you" she said.

"I want you to stay too, but you have a life waiting for you back in Seattle" is said. She hated every word I was saying, and I did too.

"My life in Seattle has been messed up for so long because you weren't in it, but then when I moved here last year, I got you back and my life went back to normal" she said. She leaned up and kissed me. "Don't tell me that this is going to be easy for you, because it isn't going to be easy for me" she added.

"It's not easy for me" I said. "It wasn't easy for me when I left Seattle in the first place" I added.

"But you did, you left" she said bitterly.  "You left and I could have died!" She said.

"But you didn't" I said. She straightened up and sat quietly for a moment.

"Why don't you come back to Seattle" she said. "Only for a few days" she added.

"I have a job up here and patients" I said.

"That is exactly why you are coming back to Seattle, I'm your patient" she said with a flirty tone.

"No, I can't" I said. She wasn't ready to give up. She leaned forward and kissed me.

"How about now?" She asked.

"I don't know" I said. She kissed me again.

"And now?" She asked.

"Maybe" I said. She rolled her eyes

"God by the time you say yes I'll be dead!" She said. She kissed me once more, this time it was longer and more intimate than any other kiss we shared before. "What is your answer now?" She asked.

"Fine,  I will come back to Seattle, but only for a week" I said. She squealed and hugged me.

"You can stay with us, if you'd like" she said. 

"Or I can stay ate the Archfield" I said.

"My house is better" She said.

"You really aren't going to quit until you get your way?" I said in a questioning tone.

"I just gave birth a week ago, you can't say no to me" she said. "Not until I say so" she added.

"Yeah and when will that be?" I asked. A sly smile spread across her face. She leaned closer.

"Never!" She whispered in my ear. I leaned forward and kissed her.

"I am going to go and let everyone know and I will pack up some things for the week" I said. She hopped off the table and walked over to her sister.

"So She's going back home?" Naomi asked.

"Yeah, But I'm going to Seattle for a week" I said.

"Why?" She asked. She furrowed her brow.

"To catch up with friends and make sure that all goes well with her babies" I said. "Plus Lexie is going to give birth soon as she wanted me to be there" I said.

"I'll go let everyone know that you are leaving for the week, have fun" she said. I grabbed my stuff and headed home to pack some things for my trip back to Seattle. It was going to be a perfect week.

A/N:
I was going to have Lexie go into labor in this chapter but I want her to have her baby in Seattle and not Los Angeles. I feel like this chapter was stretched out s little longer than it needed to be but it's whatever.
