You and Ash would have been dating for well over a year when you both have the time to take a vacation to Australia. You couldn't help but be a little nervous for the trip as the months turned into weeks and the weeks turned into days. You were meeting his family for the first time after all.

It didn't really hit you until you were both on the plane. The anxiety was growing as you guys took off. Ashton's thumb was tracing small circles on the back of your hand but even that soothing action didn't help much. It wasn't until well after you took off and were mid-flight that you had to excuse yourself to the bathroom.

The tiny airplane bathroom wasn't helping with breathing room at all, but at least it was a bit more private than the small section of the plane you two had been confined to. You sighed as you splashed some of the cool water on your face and took a few deep breaths.

What if his mom hated you? And his siblings? What if when you showed up it was some cruel joke and they would all be laughing at you?

A knock snaps you out of your thoughts. "One moment!" You call to the door.

"Baby? I know you're in there. Can you open the door?" Ashtons voice is slightly muffled through the door. You unlock it and he squeezes into the microscopic bathroom.

"These really weren't made for the giant, Aussie man that I am," Ashton jokes as he shuts the door behind the two of you. "What's going on sunshine?"

You look up at him with glossy eyes. "What if your family doesn't like me?" You ask softly.

Ashton shakes his head. "You know they already love you. My mom was telling me she's excited to have another daughter," He looks to you. "She already considers you family, darling."

You sniffle. "Really?"

"Of course! And my siblings have been dying to meet you since they found out about us. They won't shut up about showing you all the embarrassing baby photos they found." He rolls his eyes. "I promise, everything is going to be fine. By the end of the week they'll like you more than me." Ashton lets out a giggle.

You take a few more deep breaths while Ashton holds your hand. "Can we go back to our seats?" He asks after a few silent moments. "I'm not really loving the whole... romantic moment in an airplane toilet thing going on right now."
