"hi mom."

taeyong sat besides his mom, who was in a coma.

"i met a boy today." he said. "his name is jaehyun. he's very nice. he cleaned my uniform because he accidentally stained it. 

taeyong looked at his sleeping mother, struggling to speak. "i really miss you," he started. "please wake up.."

"a-and taeyeon has been working hard!" he blubbered out feeling tears fall down his cheeks. "i really hope you can see her...she's matured.."

his mother had been in a coma for five months, due to a car accident on her way from work.

it broke taeyong, being so close to her from a young age. but his mother was his best friend, he didn't want to lose her.

he held her hand tight, as he sobbed quietly, praying that one day she would wake up and come back home once and for all. 

just then the nurse walked in, "visiting hours are over mr. lee." taeyong nodded and got up and said one last goodbye, before placing a kiss on her forehead.

"i love you."

taeyong cried himself to sleep that night. 

he wanted to see his mom wake up, and have her come back home. it pained him so much, and he just wanted to go back to normal.

"taeyong, come to mom."  his mom called out. taeyong ran to his mother, and landed in her soft embrace.

"you're my little star aren't you?" she praised as taeyong giggled with a smile. "i'm mom's big star!" taeyong corrected her.

"ah yes, my biggest star...and what am i?" his mom asked him. "you're the sun!!" taeyong giggled. 

"the sun is also a star too baby," his mom added. "oh...really? but that would be a big star!!"  taeyong said slightly confused.

"wanna hear a secret yongie?" his mother asked again. taeyong nodded, with a big excited smile. 

"any star can be big, if you see it close enough."
