"you don't get it!"

"i do get it!" eric shouted. "it's your fucking fault that you aren't being honest, that you have been lying! that you haven't been yourself and denying it!"

"i haven't been denying anything! can't you just listen!?" jae cried. "you're too busy for me now! i'm tired of hearing your stupid excuses eric! i'm done!"

"i'm not making excuses!" eric said angrily. "yes you are! you're always drinking and going out, forgetting about the life we have TOGETHER!" jae sobbed.

"this was supposed to be about us! not about stupid money, or cars, or anything! you've missed your son's birthday, three times!" jae screamed.

"i'm sorry then!" eric apologized profusely. "i've had enough of your bullshit eric, i'm fucking over it at this point." jae gritted his teeth. "i'm leaving."

eric froze on the spot hearing those words. "you're what?" eric said in a faint whisper. "i've had enough with you eric, me and sam are leaving." jae stated.

"you're taking our son away now?" eric said as he slammed his fist on the table. "yes i'm taking our fucking son, i adopted him!" jae yelled.

eric scoffed, "i should've known."

"appa, why are we leaving?"

jae stayed silent as he finished zipping up the last bag. "sam, go get your bag. we'll leave soon." jae stated bluntly. "he's not the man i thought he'd be."

"i don't want to leave." sam pouted. "we'll we are going to leave. i'm not going to put you in any more danger than you already are." jae sighed.

"will i get to see him again?" sam asked. jae shrugged, "i don't know. i doubt you will be able to if he doesn't get his act together."

sam frowned, crossing his arms. "don't be sad." jae told his son. "when your father gets his act together, we'll see what happens from there."

"i don't want to leave him."

"me neither."
