Episode Title: Inverseur 

**Pierce**

The next day Pierce sits with his hand resting against his head annoyed. The biology teacher is pacing in the front of the room while talking about human evolution. Pierce looks up now and again but he doesn't actually pay attention to anything the teacher is saying. Longg peaks through Pierce's jacket, "This class is different than the rest. This one has a lot more talking as well as pacing. Why does the teacher pace back and forth? Is it important to the teaching?"

Pierce smirks, "No Longg, this teacher just really doesn't want to stand still." He looks down at his paper on the desk, "Anyway. This is biology." Thea starts to walk up the aisle towards Pierce.

Longg points it out, "I think your sister wants to talk again."

Pierce sighs, "This is the 4th time. I can't handle telling her again. Why doesn't she believe me when I say that we're not related?" Pierce continues to look forward while Thea walks up.

Longg shrugs, "I'm not sure but here she comes." Thea gets closer and sets her bag and papers next to Pierce.

Thea sits down, "Can I sit here?" Pierce shrugs. "I'm going to take that as a yes." She smiles as she flips to the page the teacher is explaining, "So, I know this is really repetitive but, are you sure I'm not your sister? Like really sure, I have these memories, or at least I feel like they are, that feel so real to me. Like the day my parents disappeared, my family and I were having a picnic with Alexander and his family. I know there were 4 of us but...I really feel like you were there as my brother and then when my grandfather passed he said I had a brother and that his name was Pierce." She pauses to wait for a response, Pierce just sits with his head resting on his hand. "Pierce, it can't be a coincidence that you have the same name as my twin brother." Thea looks at him waiting for an answer.

Pierce picks his head up, "It is just a coincidence. We have no relation. Now if you don't mind, I'd like to be able to pass the regents at the end of the year." He pauses to say something but is cut off by the teacher.

"You two in the back! Do I have to separate you two?" She waits for a response. "Alright, Thea move down here next to Grant in the front row. Alexander move to the back next to Pierce." Thea sighs then moves to sit next to Grant. Alexander walks up and sits next to Pierce. "Alright now to resume..." The teacher's voice begins to drift off as Pierce resumes the position he was in before Thea had arrived. He turned to look out the window, he zones out thinking about stuff. "Pierce?" Pierce looks up, the teacher was calling his name. "Pierce, stop daydreaming and answer the question." Pierce looks next to his right to see Alexander writing on a piece of paper. Once he finishes writing, he slides the paper over so it's in front of Pierce. He looks at it, 'she asked what sharing the same structure or genes in different species is called.' Pierce nods at Alexander to thank him.

Pierce looks up at the teacher, "Homologous structures. It means we share a common ancestor with other species, like the chimpanzee."

The teacher smiles at his answer, "Correct and here I thought you weren't paying attention." A bell goes off. "Well class, that's the bell, remember class we have a test, so make sure you study." The class begins to get up and walk out the door. Pierce waits for Thea to leave to get up, he turns to find Alexander still sitting.

Alexander gets up, "Hey Pierce?" Pierce had already started walking, Alexander grabs Pierce's arm to stop him. "Pierce? Are you okay?" Pierce turns towards him and nods his head, "It seems like you're ignoring me. Are you?" Pierce looks away. "Did I do something?" Pierce shakes his head, Alexander lets go of his arm. "I'm sorry if I did. I didn't mean to hurt you or anything." Pierce walks towards the door leaving Alexander. When he gets to the door he turns to look at Alexander, Grant is talking to him, he turns back. The teacher taps Pierce's shoulder.
