Episode Title: Vértié
**Thea**
It's been a few days since their last villain. They've stopped every villain so far that has come their way. Right now Thea is following Pierce down a sidewalk. "Please Pierce. I know I ask everyday but I have a really good feeling that we are somehow related. Please just tell me the truth." Pierce continues to walk without saying a word until Thea grabs his arm.
Pierce shoves her off, "Listen Thea, we are not related. I am nothing to you as you are to me! I wouldn't want to be related to you even if I was! Stop asking me, the answer is never going to change! I'm glad we're not related, you're too pushy and overconfident. I can barely stand you when you're sitting next to me in class, let alone being in the same house! I want nothing to do with you! Leave me alone! Don't ask again or next time I won't be so nice." Pierce shoves his way past Thea. Thea starts to tear up but before anyone can see she runs home. On her way home she finds William waiting outside.
William stands up, "Hey Thea. Are you-" Thea shoves her way through him and goes inside. She locks the door behind her and runs up stairs. She shuts her bedroom door and locks it. She turns around with tears streaming down her face.
Batty flies out from her jacket, "Thea don't cry. I'm sure he didn't mean it."
Thea shakes her head, "You didn't see the way he looked at me. He meant it." Thea gets angry. "Why did Fu have to do this? Why did he tell me this lie? And why did he tell me right before he died? Why couldn't he have told me sooner? It made it worse. So much worse." Thea digs her face into her knees.
Batty shakes his head, "What Master Fu said is true. Pierce is your brother."
Thea looks at him, "Then why does he constantly deny it? If I was his sister wouldn't he want me to know?" Batty doesn't answer. "I'm done. I can't take this anymore." Thea has tears pouring from her eyes as she holds her head.
Batty becomes confused, "What do you mean?"
Thea shakes her head, "These memories, they keep playing in my head over and over and over and I can't stop them. I can't take it. I'm sick of these lies. Everyday. I should never have told you to give them to me. It was a mistake and so was this."
Batty frowns, "Thea, you need to calm down. The person with the peacock miraculous might use an amuk on you."
Thea looks at Batty with tears pouring out of her eyes, "Why me? He could've chosen anyone to go out and play super hero and protect these people but he chose me."
Batty looks at her with concern, "I don't know. He thought you'd be strong. You help people the first chance you get. He'd knew that you would do whatever it takes to save anyone. You need to calm down and control your emotions so you can protect Paris when there is another Amuk attack."
Thea becomes angry, "I don't care anymore! I'm done with it. With all of it! I can't take it anymore." Thea grabs her headband and throws it across the room. "I can't...I just...can't anymore." Batty disappears as Thea turns away from where she threw the headband. She grabs master Fu's stick. "I miss you so much but...why? Why me? I'm not the girl you think I am. I make mistakes and I can't handle it. I'm sorry grandfather. I..it's all my fault. Ever since that day. That one day. It's all my fault." She falls to her knees crying, holding her head with one hand and the stick with the other and the same memory of that one fateful day replaying over and over again. Within a few minutes a purple Amuk flew into the stick and a purple outline shaped like a feather outlined her face.
Paon smiles, "Vértié, I am Paon. People keep lying to you, well no more of that. With just a tap of your staff they will tell you the truth."
Thea looks forward with tears still streaming down her face, "N-no. I can't. It's not right. People will get hurt."
Paon thinks, "No one will get hurt. They'll tell the truth. You'll finally get answers. Haven't you always wanted answers? Answers to the questions you have, thoughts you've had for years?" Thea doesn't reply. "All you have to do is give me Ash's and Batgirl's miraculous."
Thea nods and smiles, "My whole life has been a lie. Now no one will lie to me." A purple shine appears around her, her clothes change as the light disappears. Her hair is spiked with black fading to purple. She is now wearing a full black and purple body suit made entirely of leather. Her eyes change from a light blue to a dark blue with a black pointed line starting from the bottom of her eyes to the middle of her cheek. Thea opens her window and steps on the window sill. "Don't worry Pierce. I'll find out the truth whether you want me too or not."
