10 Years Later.......
Ajax had gone missing so Elias sent Me, Merrick, and Keegan to find him. Elias said he was sending his boys to no mans land and would meet us to give us information.
"Whats taking the walker boys so long" I ask
"I don't know Mia I guess....." Merrick begins to say but stops when we heard gunshots
"Lets go check it out" Keegan says
"Yeah that's a good idea" I say
We start to run to the direction of the gunshots and I hear wolves
"Merrick there are wolves I hear them" I say
"Yea I heard lets hurry before the walker boys are lunch" Merrick says "And Mia, switch on your voice changer in your mask" Merrick says
"Ok" I say hitting the button behind my left ear
"I see them" Keegan says
A wolf is about to pounce in one of the walker boys but Merrick tackles the wolf and shoot it while Me and Keegan are shooting and scaring them away. Merrick helps one of the walker boys.
"You look lost." Merrick say
"We're not lost. We were looking for you Captain Merrick" says one of the walker boys I believe his name was Hesh.
"Walker, I believe you have something for me?" Merrick asks
"We say a group of Feds moving a guy to Fire-base Charlie" He gives Merrick the Intel "He one of yours?"
"Yea, Ajax" I say, with my deepened voice. Merrick puts the Intel away "All right, we don't have a lot of time. You can stick with us but you do what is say, when I say it. Understood?" Merrick says
"Yes, sir" the walker boys say in unison.
"This is Keegan...." Merrick says pointing at Keegan who is crossing his arms "...and this is Nova..." Merrick says pointing to me.
"Hesh.." says one of the walker boy pointing at himself " and Logan" he says pointing to the other walker boy.
"Nova, scout the area ahead I don't know if anyone heard those gunshots." Merrick says and I nod and begin to scout. Coast is clear so I signal Merrick with 3 clicks into the earpiece and he motions every one forward.
We begin to walk to the rendezvous point, Fire-Base Charlie.
We make our way to Fire-Base Charlie and blow up a few truck and make it inside. And Hesh's dog Riley finds Ajax who is lying on the ground, wounded
"No Ajax!!" I screamed as I ran to his bloody body
"Shit" Keegan says
"How is he" Hesh asks
I look at Ajax and then Hesh
"Its bad" I says holding Ajax's hand
"Son of a bitch. Hang in there Ajax, Hang in" Merrick says
"It was Rorke. He's targeting.....look...the..wall....." Ajax said before dying in my arms
"C'mon, hang in there Ajax" Merrick says
"He's gone" I says trembling, and trying to hold back tears
"Dammit" Merrick say
I let Ajax go walk over to him and hug him and he hugs me back tight, he knew that Ajax was one of my best friends beside Keegan. Ajax was always there for me and today I wasn't there for him.
"Merrick you gotta look at this" says Hesh
"Get him ready to move" Merrick said to Me and Keegan and we nodded. Keegan saw how upset I was and that I was shaking "Hey Nova it's gonna be ok" he said pulling me into a hug
"Its a kill list. Rorke is targeting the ghosts" Merrick said
"Shit" I say, Rorke was dead from the stories Merrick would tell me, but apparently not.
"Who the hell is Rorke?" Hesh asked
"No time to explain kid" Merrick states
"Merrick we got enemy incoming" I say as we hear people yelling outside
"We need to move. Keegan bring him. We need to move NOW!!" Merrick says
I went into full survival mode so I don't remember much after the Feds busted open the doors and, besides the hum of a helicopter and Ajax's dead body covered with a tarp.
