Sidon x reader
(Ah Yes, my love for sharks and shark people.. god kill me before this gets any worse but I'm watching fire force so it's too late for that)
"Link, it's dangerous to come out here at this hour! Remember Gerudo desert?" Link glanced back at me and squeezed my hand, trying to reassure me as we made the trek to Zora's domain (anyone who's played botw will understand just how stupidly dangerous this trek can be the first time). We followed the shortcuts Link made when he first came down this way, and made it to Zora's domain with ease. "Link we could've just teleported, ya know." He looked back at me and signed to me: it can only teleport me. A look of realization crept onto my face, "Oh! Ok, that makes much more sense now." The luminescent lighting of the domain put me at ease as I walked up the stairs to Sidon's perch, this place truly felt like coming home. Prince Sidon of the Zora wasn't looking in my direction, which gave me a boost of confidence. I quietly came over next to him and held his hand, staring out at everything this part of Hyrule had to offer. Peering down at the level below, I watched as Link teleported away to take care of business. "(Y/N)? My pearl? What brings you here at this hour of the night?" I could only smile as I looked up at Sidon, "you just noticed I was here? I didn't think I was that stealthy but apparently I was wrong." He squeezed my hand as he grinned down at me, "yes, I did just notice, my mistake. Would you like to come back down to Mipha's statue with me?" I nodded, allowing Sidon to lead me down the stairs to his sister's monument. It was silent for the most part, the two of us hand-in-hand as we remembered the times we shared with the Zora champion. I didn't know her for very long, but she was really sweet. Caring, kind, ready for action and ready to help at any turn. She was great. She taught me how to swim as well, it's helped me more times I could count. My thoughts were cut off as arms encircled me. I leaned my head on Sidon's damp chest, burying my face into the skin as to hide. I wrapped my arms around him in return, holding his shaking form close as I could hear his breathy sobs. Lifting my head from his chest, I gently urged Sidon to sit down by pushing down on his shoulders. I remained standing as he leaned on me, burying his face into my shoulder as I petted his fins. The domain continued to glow beautifully around us as Sidon slowly relaxed, and once he finally stopped crying I pressed my lips to his head. "Sidon.. it's ok now, she's in a better place. She's watching over us now, smiling knowing we're doing everything we can to restore Hyrule back to its former glory. She's proud of you, I can tell." I felt Sidon lift his head, but I didn't turn to face him, I kept my eyes on Mipha's statue until my gaze was turned to him. He bumped his head against mine, purring as he buried his face into my neck. I could only giggle as he kissed my neck and shoulder, then laughed as he lifted me up into his arms. I held on, laying my head in the crook of his neck as I slowly drifted off. After all of this calamity ganon shenanigans are over, I'm returning to Zora's domain to stay. It's what Mipha wanted when she first asked me about home, and I know Sidon wants me to stay too. I hope to return home soon then.
