Nessa x Reader
(You can't look me in the eye and say you didn't fall for Nessa the first time you saw her, don't lie)
"So, who was going to tell me Gyrados was the biggest bastard in the universe? Like, mate literally splashed the entire ocean on me!"(Y/N) grumbled as they squeezed water out of their hair. Hearing soft laughter from behind them, they glanced back, feeling themselves relax as they watched Nessa walk up to them. She picked up the dive ball (Y/N) used and held it out to them, "well, at least you got a gyrados out of it, right?" They nodded as they stowed the ball away into their bag. "What're you out here collecting Pokémon for, (Y/N)? Aren't you the champion now?" She asked as she took their hand. "Filling the Pokédex is an adventure in of itself, Nessa." She squeezed (Y/N)'s hand then walked them back to Hulbery, taking them to their shared home. "Maybe you should look for Pokémon in the day, love. I mean, you were up until 10 this morning looking for a Milcery." Nessa murmured to them as she rubbed the bags under their eyes, leading them to their bedroom to get rest. "Yes, you did get the milcery, but you took... Ok, so you stayed up at 5am like any other insomniac then you spent an entire 24 hours and more looking for a Milcery. So get in bed, (Y/N), you moron. Time for sleep." (Y/N) wanted to whine, but at the same time they could feel exhaustion creeping into their bones. Vaporeon was let out one of his pokeball as (Y/N) laid down on the bed, and Nessa pulled out her phone to capture her dozing love with an icon of water types on their chest. "Why're you taking pictures..." (Y/N) murmured as Nessa sat next to them, relaxing as she ran her fingers through their hair. "Because you both looked so peaceful just laying there together, had to capture the moment you know?" Vaporeon nuzzled (Y/N)'s cheek before curling up, becoming a heavy weight that they could take as both drifted off to sleep, and Nessa smiled before taking another picture. She kissed their lips before going out to make them some tea for when they woke up.
Waking up to the subtle scent of honey tea was a good way to start their day, (Y/N) supposed as they carefully shifted to a sitting position. Taking the dainty looking cup into their shaking hands, Vaporeon steadied their hands with his paws and helped them drink before setting the cup aside. Hopping off (Y/N), Vaporeon looked back at them as they got up, then brought them to the kitchen where Nessa was waiting. Nessa pulled them to her, smiling happily as (Y/N) noticed she was wearing her gym clothes, "more challengers?" They asked as they admired her. She nodded and took their hand, "and you should watch, (Y/N). Take a breather for today, alright?" They nodded and picked up Vaporeon as Nessa led them to the stadium, ready to watch their girlfriend destroy some under leveled Pokémon.
