Implied Souda x Reader

"So you would rather die than play his game? Aren't you a little crazy as to not follow along?" Gundam asked as he gave (Y/N) a confused expression. They in return gave him a cold, dead look as they replied, "you're the fool to follow in the jester's tracks. Now I'll ask you a simple question, Tanaka, would you rather live or die?" The cards splayed out in front of (Y/N) showed all jacks, and they looked Gundam in the eye, waiting for an answer they may likely not receive. A grin plastered onto their face, "I won anyway. Good luck, Tanaka, I wish thee will." They bowed their head and stood from their chair, leaving the cafeteria to explore on their own, after obtaining their loose cards of course. It was quiet, unnerving as they tossed their pack of cards back and forth between their palms. Soft humming vibrated through their lips as they glanced around ever so slightly, nervous for even a speck of movement. The first day of school hasn't even ended, and yet (Y/N) was ready to quit, ready to leave. They knew that was impossible, their headmaster would refuse even the slightest hint of leaving or escaping. Maybe there was another way out, a secret passage perhaps. Or, or they could just beat the game scot free, no blood on their hands. They decided on the secret entrance/exit first before choosing the waiting game. Everyone was a threat, even their adoring Souda was a suspect... it broke (Y/N)'s heart to even think such a thing but even he could be out for their blood. So they could not team up with anyone, that would end terribly in the long run.

Day 6 of the brand new school year, it was already hell in a hand basket. No joke, two people already died and there was more on the way. If you couldn't already tell, the secret entrance/exit was a bust, Monokuma caught (Y/N) snooping in places they shouldn't have been and was "quarantined" to their room for a day. (Y/N) didn't mind though, Souda came around and played card games with them, so it was quite enjoyable in their opinion. "(Y/N), weren't you stuck in your room yesterday?" Sonia's voice cut their thoughts off, bringing them to look at her. They nodded, "yes, I was quarantined in my room yesterday. Souda joined me for the day too, so I had fun. What about it, did something happen?" Sonia nodded and looked down as Souda took (Y/N)'s hand, "someone found Mahiru dead in your hallway last night, so I just wanted to ask to see what happened." (Y/N) laid a card out on the table, motioning the others to close their eyes and when they opened their eyes, (Y/N) had replaced the card with a security cam connected to a computer. "Look through the feed, lovelies, my truth will stand. It also has connection to the outer hallway." Souda got up to grab something, seeing as this was the cafeteria, and came back with juice for (Y/N) as the girls were finishing the feed. Taking sips, (Y/N) smiled as they watched the participants' shoulders relax. "See? I told you, nothing-" something stopped (Y/N)'s words as they looked over at Souda urgently, but it was possibly too late. Falling back, (Y/N) sliced the back of their head on some metal on the table, cracking their skull as they hit their head. Tears rolled down their face as they slowly blacked out, Souda trying to keep them awake all the same.
