Ganon (rehydrated?) x Reader

"You're becoming detached again." A voice so young yet filled with wisdom untold spoke softly as his hand rested on (Y/N)'s shoulder. "So what of it, Ganon?" they mumbled as electricity whirled around the two. (Y/N) raised their head as lightning struck nearby, focusing their attention on Ganon as their eyes sparked like fireworks. He placed his hands on their face, rubbing circles into their cheek bones as the two stared at one another. "It's been 100 years, (Y/N). I think he'll be ok away from your watchful eye." (Y/N) stared into his eyes as Ganon traced his thumbs under their eyelids. With the way he stared back, it was as though he was searching within the depths of the mixture of blues and yellows of (Y/N)'s eyes. His hands trailed from their face to their hips as Ganon helped (Y/N) stand. "Come on, (Y/N), let loose with me!" (Y/N) stared blankly at him, not quite seeing the Ganon they were used to. But, it was a nice change of pace from the malice filled man they once knew, this new Ganon looked so full of life, love. They watched as Ganon put their hands on his shoulders, and his hands on their waist. (Y/N) understood immediately that he wanted to dance, so they decided to play along with him. The atmosphere immediately turned from electrical to peaceful, everything shifting to calm as the two swayed to their own music. (Y/N) hummed as they rested their head on Ganon's shoulder, their hands sliding down to his waist before Ganon took his turn of humming. (Y/N) looked through their all seeing eyes, watching Link go through his trials and tribulations. Vah Naboris was his last trial, (Y/N) subconsciously knew they would fade after Vah Naboris was regained. They held Ganon tighter, dread seeping into their veins knowing he'd be alone a while longer until the calamity was banished for the time being. Then the cycle would repeat after 100 years of peace. The cycle was a vicious one, indeed. "(Y/N). (Y/N)!" (Y/N) heard Ganon call to them, and they shook themselves out of the visions, looking back up at their dance partner. "He's heading towards Vah Naboris, isn't he?" His warm hand brushed against their cheek, and (Y/N) felt tears roll down their cheeks as Ganon held them tight. "It's ok, (Y/N), please don't mourn for losses like this.." malice soon returned to the edges of both Gerudos' visions, and (Y/N) swallowed roughly. The only thing (Y/N) knew for the moment was that they weren't ready to leave yet, even if they'd see Ganon soon. But what if Link lost? What if the calamity remains and the war continues? (Y/N) couldn't imagine leaving Ganon to a fate like that, they refused it even. "I can. And I will. Leaving your side brings me sorrow, and mourning is the only way I can cope with it. You say I will see you soon, but what if Link isn't ready? What if he dies? Then that will leave you back in the castle... I.. I can't leave you alone, I just can't." (Y/N) felt weakened as they became translucent, Ganon shushing their wails as they grew in volume. He pressed kisses to their hair, whispering promises he didn't know if he could keep, but it calmed them, so it did the trick. He whispered everything he was going to do with them once the calamity had fled, and when (Y/N) was fully gone, Ganon could only pray that Link was well prepared enough to finish what he had set off to do. If not for his sake, then for (Y/N)'s.
