CASE NO. 2: JODI HILLMAN
At approximately 6:00 AM June 3rd, 20XX, the body of Jodi Hillman was found at the southern end of Cape Freewell Beach. An autopsy report from the Duoma County Coroner's office suggests that foul play was involved. Bruises were found on the victim's neck and arms, and one of her molars were missing when the body was retrieved. The cause of death was officially determined to be drowning.
Before the victim was declared missing and found dead, she was last spotted partying on private yacht, The Blue Crescent, on June 1st. It is likely that the perpetrator was also in attendance.
The death of Jodi Hillman, a tourist visiting Cape Freewell, shows similar qualities to the July 20XX case of Maya McKinney whose bruised body was also found on the beach two years prior. Strange similarities between evidence of these two deaths suggest that the perpetrator may be the same in both cases. While the death of Maya McKinney was determined to be accidental, the Jodi Hillman case may be a cause for the Cape Freewell Police Department Investigation Unit and the Duoma County Coroner's office to reconsider or reopen the Maya McKinney case.
Possible suspects in the Jodi Hillman case include Trent Westwood, Jung Wooyoung, and Margot Acosta.
