Chapter 3

"You know I fucking hated you. But now you too Tahli...? I thought you were my friend. I guess I was wrong, you betrayed my trust and our friendship" Luciano said, standing up slowly as a low growl rumbled in her throat.

"I don't have anything to say.... You two enjoy each other and your traitorous ways." Luciano spoke, her tone distant and cold. She walked to the door and turned to knob only to be stopped by Jackriel who grabbed her shoulder, she whipped around and slapped him across the face, leaving her handprint on his cheek "Don't touch me!" She snapped at him, turning on her heel and walking out of the house and to her car.

"I'm sorry kiddo but... I can't fucking stay here" she thought as she opened her car door and got in the car, as soon as her butt hit the seat she sighed. The emotions she felt overwhelming her, she pushed those feelings into the darkest corner of her mind "They don't matter... Calm down" she told herself over and over as she inserted her key and heard her car roar to life as she turned it in the ignition, the vibrations of the car calming her tense body a bit. She blew out a breath as she then drove out of the pack grounds, stepping on the break she then remembered "Stupid...." She muttered to herself and put her car in park, getting out and getting the two big presents from her trunk. Luci walked to Cierra's parents house and knocked, her father opened the door after a few minutes. He looked groggy and was about to complain before he saw who was at the door "Luciano... Well I'll be, I guess you only came to drop these off" he said and she nodded "Yeah, wish I could stay.... But... You know" Luci said and rubbed her neck, handing him the boxes. "I understand. You might wanna get a move on. Angry Alpha 12 o clock" Cierra's father, Cyrus said. Luciano's eyes widened a little "See ya Cyz tell her I said Happy birthday!" She called out as she glanced behind her to see Jackriel running towards her. She was too slow and got tackled into the snow, arms pinned above her head as she glared up at him. Jackriel looked down at her with a hungry gaze, he looked like a predator. She was his prey after all. She couldn't deny, she missed those murderous red eyes glaring down at her as they fucked. It was wrong and she should feel horrible but the way he looked at her still excited her, she couldn't block what he did though so she wouldn't allow herself to become a victim once more. Lucian's eyes flashed gold before she teleported away, into the driver seat of her car and set it in neutral, speeding away. Her tires screeched as snow flew up and hit Jackriel. She sighed as she saw his heated gaze directed at her through the rear view mirror.

She turned on the heater in the car and turned up the radio to drown out the silence, Doja Cat - Say So was playing and she hummed along as Doja Cat sung. She could wrap her head around that she still had feelings for Jackriel, she was a demon, they were known for wanting chaos and destruction especially sex even if it had repercussions. She was no different. She finally paid attention to the song which was playing, Quinn had been listening to it non-stop and she started liking the song, smiling a little as she thought of Quinn. "He's too cute for his own good" she thought, blushing a little.

She felt her pocket for her phone and sighed in relief as it was in her pocket. "Now's a good time to remember that huh?" She scoffed at herself and rolled her eyes. The song ended and switched to Gavin Degraw's 'Not over you' she chuckled and sang along some. "How fucking ironic" she thought, she drove a bit faster down the road, turning off the heater and rolling back the hood, letting the cool air nip at her skin and the breeze blow in her hair.

Luciano had arrived back home in one piece, she pulled into her driveway and turned off her heater. She let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding and parked the car. She set her head on the steering wheel. "What the fuck" She murmured and hit her head against it, leaning back in her chair she just took a minute to put everything together. Then shook her head, emotionally fucked in the head she cut the ignition and got out of the car.

She closed the the door and locked the door, trudging her way to her doorstep she pulled out her house key and unlocked it. She stepped inside after stomping her snowy boots on the welcome mat four times to get all the snow off, she walked into her living room and shut the door behind her. Luci locked the door and started checking the house for any mishaps, Micah always did like to raid her fridge when she wasn't there. She never really did take her key back from him. She checked every room in her house then going to the last room her bedroom, she heard soft voices. "I'll fucking murder yo-!" She burst into the room to see Micah and Quinn with her and Micah's niece Alyssa, Quinn and Micah looked like clowns and Luciano burst into a fit of laughter as she held the doorframe "Holy hell! This is what I come back to?" She cackled at the sight before her then walked in, shutting the door. "Aunty Luc! I missed you!" The three year old exclaimed excitedly as Luci came over and picked her up. "Aaaww I missed you too but why are you still up Squeaker?" She cooed and smiled a little. The child shrugged innocently. "Alright. To bed with ye lass, to bed with ye" Luci coaxed her, putting her down. Micah stood up and went with Alyssa to her room chuckling.

Luciano went over to Quinn, who was looking at himself in a toy mirror, she chuckled and got a wipe from a wipes container and started wiping his face off. "You missed me too Quinn~zel?" She asked curiously and Quinn blushed a little, he smiled sheepishly "M-maybe" he stuttered looking away from Luci once she finished cleaning his face. She tossed the wet wipes into the bin and smirked, picking up all the toys they had on her bed with the help of Quinn. "So how about I take you out tomorrow? As a pre birthday celebration" she suggested and his eyes lit up a bit. "So cute~" she thought and shook her head. "Sure! I'd love to" he said gaining his composure to not sound overly excited. Luciano could tell he was excited and just chuckled softly "Alrighty then. Now, you have a choice... You can sleep in here with me or you can sleep in a guest room" Luci said, noticing Quinn already getting comfortable. She rolled her eyes, wanting the bed to herself at this time and shrugged then grabbed some PJs, going into the bathroom and showering.
