Chapter 26

"You fucking my brother too?" A voice spoke up, causing everyone but Luci and Scott to jump slightly and look in it's direction and see Quinn. "You win this time" Luci thought, glaring slightly at Scott as he returned the look, pushing herself off him she stood up and helped him up "What makes you say that?" Luci inquired without looking at him, knowing how it infuriates him as she glanced at him. "You're too cozy around him!" Quinn fired back, although he didn't want to be with her he wouldn't let her be with his brother. "So? I don't get pissy when you get cozy with your right hand" she said with a wide grin. "Ooh" Micah and Will cackled suddenly as Mineka slapped their necks, earning yelps of pain in place of their cackling.

"Oohh you- you!" Quinn stammered as he was unable to form a coherent sentence where he was getting so mad. "Uh huh, I've been called a lot of things. Whatever you say it won't be effective" she said calmly, she didn't know why the hell he was mad at all, they were just messing around. "You don't want me, why do you care who I fuck around with?" She asked him the million dollar question and the room froze, realising what she said. She gave no fucks as she started to walk towards Quinn. "B-because you're still mine no matter what the hell I say! This proves it!" He cried out and backed up as she walks closer, pulling down his collar and showing off the mate mark on his neck. Her eyes darkened and she bared her fangs at him, her demon slowly taking over and saying "You think that'll keep me bound to you? Ha! You want me to follow you on a lead while you don't give a fuck, I'd rather drink Holy water" she remarked as she only padded further towards him, he was scared now, the fact that she could hurt him if she wants to fueled him as he grabbed a vase and chucked it at her.

Chaos, the name of her demon side, ducked out of the way as the glass vase hit the far wall and shattered on impact. Chuckles rang from her mouth as she looked at him "You broke your mother's favourite vase" she mocked him as the realisation dawned on him, crap he'd be in trouble! "Luci, please fix it!" He begged as Chaos cocked her head to the side, a wide grin stretching across her face "Reject me" she hissed at him. "NO! Never!" Quinn told her which earned a scoff to pass her lips. "Reject me." She'd repeat as Micah jumped up and went over to the two, looking at Quinn in disappointment. He grasped Chaos' shoulders, turning her around and blew into her face, prompting her to turn her head and sneeze letting Luci be able to regain control once again. "...Do it..." Luci said not to Quinn but to Axel as she shook her head, her head feeling as if a thousand claws was digging into her brain. "Ah it hurts" Axel whimpered in Quinn's head, Quinn forcefully shutting him up as Luci walked over to Lucille and picked her up, Mineka standing up and taking two of the McDonald's bags before kissing Will's cheek "I'll see you later" she whispered to the stunned man. Scott was staring at Quinn with a slightly angered and confused expression, he was gonna have a talk with him later.

Luci walked through Lucifer's castle, her head pulsing and her emotions all over the place. She was exploring the castle a bit more, although she is close with her siblings and father now she wasn't raised with them growing up. She was raised to be a Lady of court by her mother, bent into the perfect woman for a prince to wed and bear children for. From a young age she was against dresses and light colors, anything girlish disinterested her, still the same. Oh boy, once she was brought to her father to be taught how to rule did her personality appear and she fell into place. She met her siblings, father and bestest friend officially for the first time, she was allowed to act as a child should.

"Miss Lucian?" A soft voice called to the woman, snapping her out of her- whatever she was doing. "Yes?" She responded nicely, turning her head to look at the shorter woman. "Lord Lucifer has requested your presence in the rose garden. Would you like me to brew a cup of tea?" One of the maids, Carlissa spoke up, bowing to the royal before straightening herself up but not looking her in the eye, a thing Lucifer drilled into the servants' heads not to do.

"No thank you, Cali" Luci said, she excused herself and made her way to the rose garden, passing by bushes of red roses lining the stone pathway she walked upon. Taking a moment, she inhaled smelling the intoxicating smell of the flowers "My favourite flower" she whispered to herself, she preferred the black ones, they were scarce in this day and age unfortunately. She walked quickly to where her father sat, leg crossed over the other on a cherry wood bench in the centre of the garden. Lucifer looked up hearing her heavy boots on the stone, a soft smile stretching across his face "My lovely first-born" he started, which already made Luciano's heart drop, he only used that sentence when he wanted her to do someone he knew she wouldn't like. "Dad, just spit it out. It can't be that bad" she said looking at his nervous face as he clasped his hands together and cleared his throat, trying to choose his next words carefully. "Lucian" he started, reaching his hands out and grasped her hands in his and rubbed the back side of her hands "You know how you're becoming Queen," she nodded, eyeing him warily "Well, uh... You need a king, you can't rule alone" before she could open her mouth to object he started again "I know, you think you can handle it alone but I don't want you putting too much pressure on yourself, this is hard work and very stressful." He finished, bracing himself for an outburst like her siblings would've done. It never came instead a sigh pressed past her lips in the aftermath of his speech. "I understand you want what's best for me but..." She paused, not wanting to continue with the sentence. "But?" He pressed, wanting her to open up and that's what he got as she told him everything from Jackriel to Quinn, to how she's feeling now. She hadn't told him, neither Tatianna nor Noah, she wouldn't have told Micah either if he didn't already know. "Alright, I'll go through with it."
