Chapter 18

"Hey Luci, Clara is coming to hold me hostage... Can you um... Tell her we have a date?" Quinn asked his mate, who looked at him with amusement "Why don't you want to spend time with your cousin? I know she's annoying but.... She's your family" Luciano said standing up from her squatted position in front of the lower cabinet and walked over to him, planting a passionate kiss on his lips which he returned hungrily "Eww!" Micah said, teasing the two. The two looked at him and glared "Shut up, rat" Luci huffed and Micah stuck out his tongue at her and walked away, Luci flipped him the bird then looked back at Quinn who was looking at her like she was a slice of cake. She lifted his chin looking at him with a smirk "I'm not giving up on this challenge" she murmured against his lips as she leaned in "Also Clara's here" Luciano smiled evilly and Quinn huffed cutely, blushing deeply. "But, but... I'll make you food!" He suggested trying to persuade Luci to intervene but she wasn't budging. She walked over to her bag with Quinn trailing behind her whining and pouting "Shush baby." She cooed as she grabbed her black card from her wallet and handed it to him, turning him around and pushing him towards Clara who Micah had opened the door for. "Have fun you two!" Luciano and Micah said as Clara nodded excitedly as she pulled Quinn much to his protest out of the house. "We have a day to settle our demon sides" Luci sighed and slumped against the wall. Micah chuckled "Don't worry! Let's just have fun today" he exclaimed like a child.

The two siblings were hanging out an hour after the whole ordeal and were now playing around with water guns in the backyard like they did when they were younger. Luciano was running from Micah in shorts and a tank top while Micah was shirtless and had on trunks while he carried two water guns and was squirting her with water, Luciano then then turned around and tackled Micah to the floor "Oomph-!" The two exclaimed and winced as they hit the floor, the floor was more cold and harder than they imagined. "Holy shit..." Luci said as she looked around to see they were in a ballroom, suddenly a heavy weight fell on the two siblings causing Luci and Micah to groan in annoyance.

A girl and guy chuckled softly as they smiled at the two older Lycans "Hey sis, bro" they said with wide grins as Luci pushed the two off of her causing them to hit the floor and slide slightly, she rolled off of Micah and stood up. "Hey little sister, little brother. How's your mates?" Micah asked while Luci just leaned against the wall with a small smile on her face "Conner is fine.... A bit nippy now that mating season is approaching..." Noah, their younger brother said getting off his sister and helping her up before rubbing the nape of his neck. Luci snickered and nodded, feeling for the guy "I feel ya... Mine too" she'd mutter, Micah caught it and looked at her wide eyed "He finally did something?!" He asked to which Luci blushed deeply "S-shut up idiot. You don't want the whole continent to know" she said glaring slightly at Micah.

"What about you Tati?" Luci inquired looking at her baby sister with a hint of amusement in her eyes "Chris- H-he's okay. We made it official the other night" Tatianna stuttered out, her face as red as a tomato and the siblings cheered "Atta-girl! You finally did it. After two years!" Micah and Noah cheered, Micah casting a side-ways look to Luci who glared at him in return "Shut it!" She huffed.

"Now now children. No teasing your sister" A deep and intimidating voice spoke up causing the siblings to flinch slightly and turn their attention to their father, who was smiling widely at them. He was happy to see them in one place again. The siblings all grinned widely, their eyes shining with excitement then ran at him at once and tackled him to the floor happily, earning a loud laugh from him and excited screeching in demon language from them. "I missed you four too!"

"I see you're finally awake old man" Micah chuckled whilst Luciano snickered, they disbanded the hug pile and the family was just sitting around the room on their thrones. "At times like this I wish your mother was here" Lucifer said softly, earning multiple saddened sighs to echo from the siblings and multiple 'Me too's' to be said afterwards.

"Cheer up! I can feel your demonic auras spiking, let's go for a good ol fashioned sparring match eh? No holding back" Lucifer suggested hoping to lighten his children's saddened states. That seemed to do the trick and they looked at him with excitement in their eyes.

Luciano sent her younger siblings flying as her face was blank, she was too focused on not hurting her family to fight. "Come on! You need to fight back Luci!" Their father said as Luci just looked at him and sighed, shaking her head no "I don't want to hurt them" she stated simply and Micah, Noah and Tati looked at her in sympathy and she glared at them "Don't" she warned with a huff as their father raised an eyebrow then the siblings all filled him in on everything that happened, the twins were really shocked. "Yeah, yeah... That happened so what? I'm fine now" Luciano said calmly

"Your mate is weak"

"Excuse me?" Luciano turned to look at Micah, her eyes burning into his "You heard me, he's a push over and he might even be gay!" Micah snapped at her, Luciano looked at him blankly as her rage built up, he knew how to get her riled up "He's your friend." She said and he rolled his eyes "He's a cry baby that doesn't deserve you, he should be dead in a d-" Luciano couldn't help it, even though she knew he didn't mean it she couldn't help but get angry when someone talked shit about him. She punched him in the stomach causing him to vomit up a pool of blood and he grinned and cheered. "You wanted to bring out my fighting spirit? Let's fight then." she said rolling and cracking her neck, they all nodded and went to attack her at once.
