Chapter 42

"We got your tato, puffs. What else should we get?" Luci asked the child which she held in her arm, who laid against her chest looking around the store, wanting to grab at everything colorful. Addison babbled, reaching for the Neapolitan ice cream sandwiches. They were colorful and she wanted them. Luci opened the freezer and grabbed a pack of them, closing the freezer with her hips then setting the sandwiches in the basket she had hung off her arm. "Nice choice" she cooed softly as they went to go ring up their items. Luci got Addison's puffs and ice cream sandwiches but also got spaghetti, tomato sauce, and thinly diced and churned beef what she'd have to shape into meatballs. Addison tugged and played in Luci's hair, always trying to go for the white tuft that hung over her left eye but not being able to reach it good enough, only the bottom. The cashier rang up Luci's things while ogling at her body, causing him to miss-scan and have to start over. She just stood there and waited, face stoic as she looked down at Addison who was stubbornly still trying to reach that tuft of hair which prompted her to smile a little, just a little twitch of the lips is all.

"M-ma'am. Your total is $19.50" The cashier stuttered out, catching Luci's attention as she fished a twenty-dollar bill from her pants, gave it to the boy, and awaited her change. Seeing a 'Help a child get surgery'' donation box for a hospital her eyebrows twitched, knowing that they went to the organizations trying to help she pulled a hundred from her sweats and stuck it in the box, the cashier being slightly surprised because no one does it and because she had a baby, a baby being expensive. She grabbed her two bags and got her change before walking out of the store and disappearing, reappearing back at the packhouse and in the kitchen; where the bag of KFC sat on the counter. She seats Addison in her chair then straps her in once again before putting the ice cream, meat, and puffs away. She left the spaghetti and tomato sauce on the counter. "Aaaah" Addison babbled and looked at Luci as she reached into the KFC bag and pulled out a famous bowl, this piqued Addison's interest and she leaned forward, beating her tiny hands on the plastic tray of her high chair. Luci tossed the pea baby food into the trash with a satisfied look, grabbing and washing the baby spoon before sitting down in front of Addi. Lifting the lid of the bowl and setting it down she scooped a majority of mashed potatoes into the spoon from the side of the bowl then blew on it so it could cool down. Addison reached for the spoon with a pout on her pink lips, her brows furrowed. Luci chuckled and put the spoon close to her mouth, Addison opened up, taking a liking to the smell of the gravy. Luci fed her the mash and waited for her reaction to see if she liked, disliked it, or would just spit it out in general. Addison swallowed the food after a minute and cooed loudly, looking up at Luci happily as she beat on the tray once more. She fed her more, doing the same routine each time until her little tummy was full and jutting out a bit. Luci ate the rest of the famous bowl, she let Addison eat most of the mash potatoes but was still content that she actually ate. Addison looked in Luci's direction with a blank look, her eyes widening as she looked slightly behind her "Aaaah!" She gargled as big hands gripped Luci's throat, letting out a strangled growl Luci turned into her demon form, her head doing a 180° as she stared up at Kylar. "...Oh, it's you..." She muttered before snapping her head back to it's original position.

"Carry my babies" Kylar said softly as he looked at Luci and played with her hair to annoy her, not knowing the woman enjoyed it. "Eat shit" she said softly, rocking Addison in her arms as her and the seven month old baby watched The Backyardigans. "Can it be yours?" He retorted causing the woman to finally pay heed to the dragon-born sitting beside her, quite closely. Her eyebrow twitched and she scoffed turning her attention back to the TV that displayed the colorful anthropomorphic animals such as a penguin named Pablo, a ladybug named Uniqua, Tasha the Hippo, Tyrone the moose, and Austin the magnificent kangaroo. They were singing about racing around the world against each other. Soon Addison was asleep, Luci getting up and putting Addi in her crib gently and giving her a teddy to cuddle up to. Kylar snuck up behind Luci and wrapped his arms around her body, gripping her throat with his right hand and groping her ass cheeks with his left. She whined and kept quiet to not wake up the baby, struggling and scratching his arms and torso with her sharp claws. "I'm tired of you not realising what I am to you~" he forcefully bared her neck to himself "Kylar let go or I swear!" She whisper yelled at him and grunted, biting her lip in pain to stop herself from crying out, digging her claws into his skin deeply as he bit hard into her soft flesh, his arms bled some. His teeth sinking deeper than it should have, the bite mark was huge and bleeding profusely "K-Kylar... Why would you-" she moaned in pain as her neck burned like wildfire.

"Shhh.... It'll only hurt for now my love" he whispered into her ear and let her go, she turned around slowly glaring up at him then jumped on him, him instinctively wrapping his arms under her legs. She pushed her face into his neck and nuzzled him, which he enjoyed a lot. Blood oozed from his mouth as he choked, all the blood going onto her head as she pulled away, the front of his throat between her lips. They glared at each other as she spat his scaled skin at his face.
