Chapter 10

"Why's she covered in dirt- Oh my god that wretched man, how could he do that to her?!" A sweet feminine voice asked, concern and worry lacing her tone as she stared up at her husband and mate then looked back at the unconscious girl in his arms. Or so she seemed unconscious. Her eyes welling up with tears as she spun on her heels "Come let's go clean her up then bandage her wounds" Caleb's wife Aurora said. Caleb hummed in agreement before they both walked to their bathroom and got her in the tub after filling it with warm water, they scrubbed her clean and put antiseptic on her wounds once she was dry. "I'm sorry" Aurora apologised softly before she started stitching up Luci's wounds once she was placed on their bed and Caleb left the room. Salty tears fell from her eyes as she stitched the deep wounds on Luci's body first before doing the minor scratches and cuts, such as the one on her cheek.

Once they bandaged her wounds they left the room and went into their living room "Why was she....?"

"Covered in dirt? The fucker thought she died and buried her alive. She woke up and dug her way out of the hole before passing out due to too much blood loss, good thing I was on patrol and not anyone else" Caleb explained as she rubbed her shoulders then placed a hand on her swelling stomach, beginning to rub it in circles soothingly not only to her but to the pup inside. "I'm sure Micah is worried about her, she was in that dungeon for 3 weeks after all" Aurie said gritting her teeth, she thought about all the horrible things they did to her and it made her blood boil.

"Calm down piccolo Lupo, all that matters is that she's safe now" Caleb sighed as he kissed Aurie's head and nuzzled her to calm the aggravated she-wolf down. "Yeah... Micah's gonna come here and fuck Jackriel up" Aurora said smiling a little to which Caleb chuckled "Luci's mate too"

"WHAT?!? She has a new mate? I hope he or she treats her right, she doesn't need that" Aurie huffed and Caleb patted her head before kissing her "I hope so too"

The tension in the air was thick as if you could cut it with a knife, a legion of demons surrounded the pack lands as they awaited the command of their leaders "You seek out the one whose name is Jackriel and Tahli, you may consume the prisoners if you taste the greed and hate etched into their souls, if they dont have that let them free. Do. Not. Harm. The. Civilians. Is that understood?" He spoke sternly to the siblings' army and the demons nodded in understanding, they wanted their princess back and nothing will stand in their way.

"Also if she isn't in the dungeons look for a male named Caleb, he's a trusted acquaintance of ours, no harm is to come to him or his wife. He is the one to have Luciano if she isn't located in the dungeons" A male and female spoke up as they looked at Micah then at the legion of demons.

"What's all the ruckus out here? Oh, it's you... And you brought me a new plaything since the other one broke" Jackriel said as he walked out of the pack-house, hearing Micah's voice. He looked at the female with a perverted look and a flick of his tongue across his bottom lip. Micah paid no heed to what he said until he mentioned the young girl and his eyes darkened but the younger two were affected by his word more heavily than Micah was "W-what? L-Luci's....dead?? They whimpered "Don't listen to his wor-" Micah was cut off.

"ATTACK!"

The demons let out a loud roar in unison as they flooded the pack grounds, they didn't touch Jackriel at first but went to the dungeons and to Tahli's domain.

"Wh-" A swift punch to Jackriel's face greeted him as he turned, looking wide-eyed at all the demons he couldn't see before. He staggered back, not having time to react or defend himself as the fist came back and uppercut him then continued beating him into the floor. Micah went over and helped his best friend beat up the man, they treated him as if he was a piece of meat in a pit of hungry wolves "YOU FUCK WITH MY MATE AND THINK YOU COULD GET AWAY WITH IT?! YOU TRAMP!" Quinn snapped in his face as Micah looked at Quinn in shock and amusement

They stomped his face in and ripped his flesh, cutting his flesh and beating his face in some more, Quinn stood up as his legs shook "You can do this... It's for her...He took her from us" he thought as he reached into the waistband of his jeans and pulled out one of Luciano's handguns, it was a Rick and Morty custom painted desert eagle and his hands shook "You'll have so many regrets if you kill me!" Jackriel cried out as Quinn was trying to calm his own nerves, he thought of her but it only made him angrier as he thought of what he just said and the shit Jackriel might've done to her and he pushed Micah out of the way "I won't have any.. You took what's mine and I'll take what's yours" he shakily took aim of the gun and pulled the trigger twice, firing two bullets into Jackriel's chest where his heart was.

"Your life"

Micah watched in utter shock as Quinn fired the clips into Jackriel's body, he didn't know he knew how to handle a gun let alone use it on someone "Quinn...." He said, said male turned his head to him before reloading the gun and firing the last bullet into Jackriel's head with no emotion on his face, no remorse for the male whatsoever "Luci taught me" he muttered before looking at the gun sadly, he gritted his teeth and sighed "I just want MY mate back" he growled before walking in an unknown direction, Micah didn't stop him as he knew he was safe and instead looked down at the corpse in front of him and scoffed "My only regret was letting her go with you that night" he whispered before walking to Caleb's house.
