Ignazio's POV:

My phone rang and I answered the call without looking at the caller ID, "Hello." I spoke looking at Ellaria whose back was turned to me as she hovered above the stove making dinner.

"Where the fuck have you been, man?! I called you like a thousand times!" Damien exclaimed in exasperation.

"I'm sorry, man. I was sleeping and lost the track of time." I told him truthfully.

There was silence on the other end for one solid minute before he spoke, "Are you with Ellaria?"

"Yeah." I replied with a small smile dancing on my lips.

"I'm glad, man. Finally, after all these years, your life is back on track." He sighed.

My posture went rigid upon hearing his words but I didn't say anything further and asked, "So, why did you call me a thousand times?" I asked mocking him.

He chuckled but sobered up immediately as he begun to speak, "I found out the location of one of their bases in Italy."

"Where?" I asked in a grave voice.

Ellaria turned around raising a brow but I just flashed her a small smile.

"They're in Milan." He announced.

"Send me the address, they're going down tonight." I said clenching my jaw.

"I will. But that's not all." He trailed off.

"What do you mean?" I asked impatiently.

"They are doing sex trafficking, kidnapping the girls and keeping them against their will. It's a club. And the worst part is, those girls are minor aged from thirteen to seventeen." He informed.

My blood ran cold as I heard that piece of information. Involving minors in sex trafficking was wrong, hell sex trafficking itself was wrong. We also have a whore house but all those women are there willingly. We never sacked girls off of a goddamn road.

Even the mere thought of it was making me sick.

Ellaria placed a plate in front of me filled with fried rice and grilled chicken with vegetables on the side. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her on my lap. She was looking at me questioningly but didn't ask and just placed her hands on my chest.

I swallowed harshly before replying to him, "I'll see to it. Just send me the address." I hung up and threw the phone across the counter.

"What's the matter?" she asked running her hands on my shoulder and down my arms, my muscles relaxed in her hold and I leaned my forehead against hers.

"We found the location of those attackers. They're in Milan. We're going there tonight." I told her the half-truth.

"And?" she probed.

I shook my head at her and she sighed, "Come on, just tell me." She pressed.

"They are running a club of prostitution. They are sex trafficking minor girls." I stated monotonously.

"Oh my God, that is so fucking sick." She spoke getting angry.

I nodded my head in agreement and silence fell upon us for a brief moment before she stood up and dragged a bar stool near mine and sat on it.

"Eat up. We have to leave for Milan." She declared.

I smiled and kissed her temple, "Thank you."

She smiled back and shoved a spoonful in my mouth. We ate the dinner together in silence and I offered to clean up but she refused and told me to go home to change.
