I was well on my way to Kim's room before 2000 hours. When I arrived, I knocked on the door. To my surprise, it seemed as though she were waiting at the door.

"I'm not late, am I?" I asked.

"No," Kim replied. "I was watching to make sure no one saw you."

"Why?" I asked. "Is it forbidden to visit your friends?".

"No," Kim replied. "However, it is forbidden to do what we're about to do." I frowned. I didn't know what she was talking about. And I didn't want to either. Before I could ask what she was talking about, she opened her window and climbed out. My first instinct was to stay. But I wasn't going to let Kim go out there by herself. I reluctantly followed her.

I opened my mouth to ask where exactly we were going, but she told me to shush. She motioned toward the two men that were guarding the building. She took a gun out of her utility belt. I recognized the model. This gun was only for sedation darts. My eyes went wide with concern. As I attempted to knock the gun out of her hand she shot the two guards dead on. I was able to shoot very well, but that was nothing compared to Kim. After all, she had been training to be a spy all of her life. She was the best shooter in the entire school.

Seeing that there was no one else around, I asked, "Are you crazy?". "We are the good guys. We're not supposed to take out our own men."

Kim replied, "It was a necessary measure. Now be quiet or I'll have to sedate you too." We walked for about 40 minutes until Kim made a sudden stop. She pulled a device out of her utility belt. It looked like a tracker. I had seen one in class. Before I could say anything , she explained, "One day I came out of the school perimeter to check things out at the warehouse where you were kidnapped. Lucky for us, a car pulled away as I arrived. I managed to get a tracker on it, and it led me here. Last night I did some reconnaissance to know how to break in. I figured that I should have someone with me when I actually do." It took me a minute to process everything.

Finally, I asked, "Why would we want to break into here, alone." Before she could reply, I was smacked onto the ground. Hard. When I looked back up, Kim was fighting a boy about our age. That was all I could make out because I was dizzy and it was dark. I snapped upright to attention, bracing myself for a fight. I didn't think it was coming, as Kim was as good a fighter as I am, maybe even better.

Apparently, I was wrong.

When my vision adjusted to the dark, Kim was on the ground with a sedation dark sticking out of her neck. He quickly leaped for me, but I saw this coming. I stuck out my leg to trip him. He fell to the ground with a yelp. I ran over to Kim's side and yanked out the sedation dart. Then I felt a kick to my side. I lost my balance and tumbled over Kim. I got back up and kicked him in the face. He fell down as I pinioned his arms and legs to the ground. I stuck the sedation dart in his neck, hoping that it had a little more of the sedative solution. It did. He fell asleep quickly. It appeared that sedation darts give you the upper hand in a battle. I looked for options of what to do. I only found one. I dragged the boy over to a dumpster and lifted him inside. I ran back over to Kim, who wasn't moving an inch. I dragged her to the closest area of trees I could find. I looked at Kim, hoping she would wake up soon.

As for now, I was on my own.
