Part 22: Plan

"There's no way we are going to give Uma the wand," Evie said after Mal and I explained everything that happened to Evie, Jay, and Carlos. "We can't just let her destroy Auradon."

"If Uma doesn't get the wand though, Ben is toast," Carlos said.

"Right, so we are going to give Uma, of all people, the wand," Evie said.

"Wait! Your 3D printer!" Mal exclaimed.

"A phony wand!" Carlos said.

"You could do that, right?" Mal asked as I stood there confused.

3D printer. What's that? And what does it do? I mean, obviously it can print things but other than that it's total gibberish to me.

"I could print one in my sleep," Carlos said.

"Right, and the second Uma tests it, she'll know it's fake," Evie said.

"Well, okay. So we just get Ben out of there really fast," Mal said. "Get some kind of diversion."

"Smoke bombs?" I suggested.

"Smoke bombs!" Jay said a little bit louder than me.

"That's perfect!" Evie said. "I'll get the chemicals you'll need from Lady Tremain's place! That could actually work! Oh, and sick hair by the way. Evil step-mom really stepped up her game."

"Dizzy did it," I said, grabbing Evie's attention.

"Little Dizzy? Shut up," Evie said.

"I know, I'm like, loving it. It's like, a lot lighter," Mal said.

"Ahem?" Jay said, clearing his throat.

"Hello?!" Carlos said, getting Mal and Evie's attention.

"Right," Mal said. "Carlos, Jay, you guys meet us at Pirate's Bay, no later than noon. And you guys? Losing isn't an option."

The four of them put their hands in a circle and Mal nodded at me to join. I gave her a questioning look at first but when she nodded again, I placed my hand in the circle too.

"Cause we're rotten," Mal said.

"To the core," we all said in unison.

When they all split apart, Jay and Carlos went to find their way back to Auradon which left me with Mal and Evie.

"So are we going to head to Lady Tremain's place now or...?" I asked.

"Yeah, but first," Evie said, holding up her pointer finger. "We need to talk."

"About what?" I asked considering that I had never really been close to Evie.

"You and your pirate," Evie said.

"My pirate?" I asked.

"Yeah," Evie said. "And don't act dumb. You know exactly who I'm talking about."

"I have no idea," I said.

"Chloe," Harry's voice suddenly called out.

"He knows about this place?" Evie asked.

"Yeah," I said. "I don't know how he just does."

"Chloe, are you up there?" Harry asked.

"Yeah, what's up?" I asked.

"I'll tell you when I get up there," Harry said.

"Fair warning, Evie and Mal are up here too," I said as I heard Harry's boots clicking up the stairs.

"Fine by me," Harry said, finally reaching the top of the stairs. "It's stuff Uma wanted me to tell you so they can hear it too."

"Hi, Harry," Evie said, rolling her eyes.

"Hi," Harry said bluntly. "Anyway, Uma says that if she doesn't get the want she wants me personally to kill Ben."

Mal gasped. "No."

"Yeah, and I know that it's going to break your heart so that's why I wanted to tell you guys that I'm on your side," Harry said. "I don't care what Uma will do to me, I just want you guys to know that I'm going to be on your side. And, with that being said, I'm going to need to know the plan."
