When the event ended, Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos left the Isle but Harry stayed. I was grateful for that because that meant I could stay sane. He and I mostly talked about everything the other had missed out on and, I have to admit, I really missed him.

"How have things been going on the Isle?" Harry asked, pulling me closer to his chest as we cuddled.

"Why do you wanna know?" I asked.

"Because I've talked about Auradon enough," Harry said. "And something seems to be bothering you."

"Everyone's been bossing me around and my mom seems to hate you," I said. "I wish I could just go to Auradon with you already."

"I've been wishing that too. But everything over there has to be set up for the others," Harry said.

"But we already had a room in Auradon," I said. "Why can't we just go now?"

"Because that would be considered special treatment," Harry said. "And we want all of the newcomers to be treated equally."

"Okay," I said, nodding. "Everything's going to be fine as long as we're together, right?"

"Of course, Chloe," Harry smiled. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you again."

I smiled and cuddled closer to him. "Thank you, Harry."

"I'm just being a good boyfriend," Harry said.

"Well, you're doing everything right," I said.

"Good, I've been trying really hard," Harry said. "By the way, I love your new hair."

"Thanks," I said, sounding a bit sad that he brought it up.

"What's wrong?" Harry asked.

"I don't know, I guess I was just done caring about what everyone thought of me so I cut my hair to prove to myself that I didn't care," I said.

"Chloe, you don't have to do something like that to show you don't care about something," Harry said.

"Yeah, but that's when I realized that I'm a monster," I said.

"You are not a monster," Harry said. "I don't care what anyone else says."

"I know, but with me wanting to be good then wanting to be bad, I feel like I'm just hurting everyone around me," I admitted. "I feel like I'm just bringing people close to me and then pushing them away because I don't know what I want."

"What do you want?" Harry asked.

"I want to be good," I said. "I want to be good but with everyone else around me thinking that I want to be bad, I can't take it anymore."

"If you want to be good, then be good," Harry said. "As I said before, it doesn't matter what other people think about you. And you don't have to show you don't care by changing your physical appearance."

"Thank you, Harry," I said. "I really needed to hear that."

"And I will be here to tell you everything you need to," Harry said.

"My mom is really wrong about you," I said. "She said that you don't care about me and you only want to hurt me. But, she's wrong and I know it. You care about me more than anyone I know."

"Even more than Carlos?" Harry asked. "I mean, he is your brother after all."

"I've never really been close to Carlos," I admitted.

"Well, I feel like there are a lot more people who care about you," Harry said. "And yeah, I'm definitely one."

"I love you, Harry," I said, before realizing what I had said.

"I love you too, Chloe," Harry said, smiling.
