A New Chapter

Chapter 7

Previous chapter-

"Well Ed's, you sure know how to surprise someone!" Richie smiled, resting his hands on the boys shoulders. "So, what did you think?"

"I think." Eddie pondered. "I think my life would suck without you Rich. I think i like you too."

Chapter 7-

"Awww Ed's i knew you were a big old softie." Richie grinned, rubbing the top of Eddie's head. "My little Eddie Spaghetti."

"Quit it with the nicknames Rich! And i'm not a softie, you confessed to me first idiot!" Eddie pouted, he really did like being called Ed's but he was never going to outright admit it. "So, what does this make us?"

"Hmmm let's see. You couldn't imagine your life without me. I mean i understand that, i am pretty fucking amazing." Richie chuckled, winking at Eddie who did not seem the least bit impressed. "Okay okay, will you be my boyfriend Eddie my love?"

Blushing rather a lot, Eddie lowered his head. "Yeah." He simply uttered, this rather bold question coming from Richie surprised him but he was glad he knew where they were now. "I will be your boyfriend."

"Awww, you blushing Ed's?" Richie smirked, nudging Ed's and teasing him some more. He knew Eddie secretly liked it and even if he didn't Richie enjoyed it way too much to stop.

"Shutup Rich." Eddie groaned, pushing Richie down onto the bed with him now on top.

"Hmmmm, you know i never imagined you topping first time Ed's. But, hey im not complaining here." Richie chuckled as Eddie blushed more, shoving a pillow over the top of Richie's face. "Come on Ed's that was gold!"

"Fuck off." Eddie snapped, his face was practically red now and he soon jumped off of Richie's and lap and headed towards the bedroom door.

"Hey, come on Ed's it was a joke!" Richie sighed.

"I know idiot, but i have to go back home at some point. I did sneak out remember!" Eddie shrugged, he didn't want to go home, in fact it was the last thing he wanted to do but if he didn't he knew he would just get into even more trouble. "Sorry to cut this so short Rich."

"Hey, it's okay. We have all the time in the world now! Why don't we go for a date tomorrow?" Richie smiled, heading towards Eddie to give him a hug goodbye. "Pleaseeee, it'll be my treat and you can even invite your mum if you really want. I know you love to third wheel on us two. "

"Asshole..." Eddie sighed. "But, yeah a date sounds nice. I'll just tell my mum that i'm going round Stan's to study or bird watch or something."

"I'm hurt. You cheating on me now with Stan the Man?" Richie gasped, holding his hand's to his chest in exaggeration. "How could you?"

"You're so not funny." Eddie moaned, but couldn't help but crack a small smile. "Meet at your's tomorrow at 12?"

"Sound's good to me babe." Richie grinned, not realising what he just called Eddie.

"Ehh---ummm--okay." Eddie blushed, he was lost for words and Richie too was now turning rather crimson in the face. "I mean, that's a better nickname than Eddie Spaghetti."

"So that's your kink babe?" Richie winked, suddenly becoming rather cocky and proud of his forwardness, knowing it would only embarrass Eddie more. "I'll keep that in mind."

"Shutup Rich." With that Eddie pecked Richie on the lips again and began to head home, leaving Richie still dazed with the whole situation. Laying on his bed smiling, the boy fell asleep thinking of his new boyfriend.

Meanwhile at Eddie's house-

Eddie quietly climbed up the tree outside his bedroom window and sneaked back into his room, luckily undetected. Just as he shut his window a loud knock came from his door, making the boy jump and spin around.

"Eddie Bear, it's time to take your pills." Sonia yelled. "I know you're still mad but you know i'm only trying to protect you."

As Eddie approached the door he was instantly greeted by his mother and a bottle water and pills towering over him, even though he stormed to his room earlier she seemed rather calm. "Thanks mummy."

"I'm only doing this because i love you so much Eddie. I don't want you being tainted by your friends, especially that boy Richie and that slut Beverly." Sonia protested, watching her son take his medication before heading downstairs.

Eddie hated the way she spoke about his friends, she knew nothing about them and how wonderful they really were. But, he knew he had to ask about meeting Stan so arguing with her was out of the question. "Mummy, can i meet Stan tomorrow? He want's to go bird watching with me."

"Only if you take sun-screen and your medication." Sonia replied, facing Eddie at the bottom of the stairs. "Are you staying there for the night, it will be a school night."

"I think so yeah, but Stan is always ready on time for school mummy." Eddie protested, he was wasn't wrong - other than Eddie himself, Stan was always the first one at school.

"Hmmm, okay Eddie." Sonia agreed, she too knew how well behaved Stan was. In fact other than Bill, he was probably the only other friend of Eddie's she was able to tolerate out of the group, but mainly because he was so quite and well behaved.

"Thankyou mummy!" Beamed Eddie, he couldn't wait to meet Richie again and have a proper day with him. Shit, i should probably tell him that i want to stay round his tomorrow night...

2 hours later-

"Eddie Bear, i'm going to grab some food for tonight. Anything you wan't?" Sonia yelled from downstairs, heading towards the front door.

"No thanks mummy." Eddie replied, this was his chance to call Richie without his mum finding out and yelling at him. "Bye mummy." As Sonia locked the front door, Eddie dashed downstairs and grabbed hold of the phone dialing Richie's home number.

"Hey, is this Richie?" Eddie said nervously, much like his mother Richie's dad always scared him a little. He couldn't detect why but he always put him on edge.

"Hey babe, miss me already?" Richie chuckled.

"Shutup, i don't have much time." Eddie snapped, wrapping the phone chord around his thumb as he began wondering how he should ask if he could stay round. The two have had plenty of sleepovers before, but asking now seemed so much different.

"Okay....what's up hunny bun?"

"More nicknames really? Ughh, anyway i was umm--i was wondering if i could stay round yours tomorrow night?" Eddie blushed, relieved the fact that Richie couldn't see his facial expressions.

"Yeah of course Ed's! My parents have got a work thing anyway, so we can have the whole place to ourselves." Richie was beaming, he loved spending time with Eddie and now the two will finally have some peace and quite - just the two of them.

"Thanks Rich, i guess i'll see you tomorrow then."

"See you tomorrow Spaghetti."

"Asshole."
