"You didn't want to tell me?" Richie snapped. "Why the fuck would you not want to tell me?"

Chapter 26-

Both Richie's and Eddie's minds were racing, neither of them knowing how to proceed. Why would Eddie want to keep something like this from me? Richie began worrying. I bet Richie really hates me now. Eddie pondered.

"I just..." Eddie began, but as soon as his eyes met Richie's he froze. His heart pounding and hands shaking, his breath began to speed up and his mind went blank. Reaching for his inhaler he took a quick breath and tried to calm himself down, it helped that Richie was letting him take his time at least. "I didn't want to worry you, plus i know you have your own things going on at home."

"Ed's, you can tell me anything." Richie uttered, tears began to fill his own eyes as well. The idea of Eddie keeping things like this from him, broke him. "I would rather you tell me, if you feel comfortable to of course."

"Of course i do!" Eddie replied hastily. "It's just shit, i always feel like i'm telling you all my problems." Eddie lowered his head, the guilt overwhelming him.

"Eddie, it's what people do in relationships. They talk to each other and help each other." Richie smiled, sitting up and giving Eddie a hug. "Don't think you need to bottle this stuff up."

"I could say the same about you idiot." Eddie muttered, his head nuzzled into Richie's chest. "You don't tell anyone shit."

"Okay, you're not wrong." Richie confessed, pulling away from Eddie to meet his eyes. "Why don't you tell me about your mum and i'll tell you about my shit?"

"Okay..." Eddie uttered, the two felt a wave of relief. "Well, to put a long story short.... The Doctor says i need to try different techniques, i told mumm----mum that the 'long walks' help. She was happy and so was the doctor. But, he wanted me to try this technique as well. Problem is, i have to do it because if i don't mum will only make things worse. If i play along with it the sooner the doctor will be gone and mum will stop pestering me."

"I'm sorry this is all happening to you Eddie." Richie replied, he didn't know what to say, he was at a loss for words. "I wish there was something i could do."

"You're helping me, you being with me is all i need idiot." Eddie smiled, reaching his hands out to hold onto Richie's. "Besides, when we're old enough we can leave this town."

"Yeah, we can get a little flat and have a dog." Richie laughed.

"As long as it's trained and clean." Eddie snapped.

"Of course anything for you Ed's." Richie laughed, but their laughter soon fizzled out when Richie realised it was his turn to confess. The two fell silent and Richie could feel Eddie's gaze on him. "Want to get pancakes?"

"Richie..." Eddie sighed.

"I know i know, sorry." Richie let out. "It's just i don't really know what my issue is, it's really stupid."

"Say it anyway." Eddie smiled, rubbing the top of Richie's hands with his thumb.

"Okay... Well, i tried telling Bev a while ago but i never got properly round to it because there was other shit with my mum and dad going on. But, i just get days were i really hate being here and being who i am. I hate the things i say and the way i look, being home alone just makes it worse but when my parents are there all hell breaks loose. Sometimes i just want to disappear, i want to hurt my---"

"Don't say it." Eddie sobbed, Richie had been so focused on letting everything out that he hadn't noticed Eddie crying opposite him quietly. "Don't fucking say it."

"Eddie i'm sorry, this is why i didn't want to tell you." Richie lowered his head.

"No i'm glad you told me." Eddie gasped. "I just hate that you think that way about yourself. Richie you're fucking amazing, the losers club would really suck without you. I really care about you and so do the others, so if you ever feel like doing anything like...that...then please call one of us, please."

"I will, i'm sorry." Richie cried, it had all gotten too much for the boy and he too broke down. "I'm really sorry Ed's."

"Stop saying sorry idiot." Eddie smiled, wiping the tears from Richie's face. "I don't know what i'd do without you, so please don't pull yourself down because you mean everything to me."

"Thanks Ed's." Richie sniffled, lowering his head as Eddie kissed his forehead. "I love you."

"I love you too Trashmouth." Eddie chuckled, the two hugged again but for longer this time. "Thanks for telling me, i know it must have been hard."

"Yeah, but i feel better now i've let it out." Richie smiled, leaning his head on Eddie's shoulder. "Thanks for telling me too, well thanks for telling me in the sober version."

"Shutup!" Eddie laughed. "Was i really that bad drunk?"

"No, you were funny." Richie smiled. "You were so clingy."

"Well, we're drinking again tonight so maybe i'll see clingy Richie?" Eddie suggested, he was making sure he wasn't going to drink tonight as his mother was picking him up the next day. Plus it would be fun to see Richie drunk for a change.

"Hmmm, nah i can handle my drink babe." Richie laughed, rubbing the top of Eddie's head. "Pancakes?"

"We'll wait and see." Eddie laughed. "Yeah pancakes." But just before the two boys left, Richie hesitated making Eddie spin around as he was about to leave. "You okay?"

"Can i confess one more thing?" Richie whispered.

"Sure."

"I really want to...kiss you." Richie uttered, his cheeks turning red.

"Why are you asking, we've kissed before."

"No, like proper kiss..."

"Oh..." Eddie blushed. "Sure..." He moved over towards Richie and began shuffling around a little, not knowing what to do. "So..."

"Come here idiot." Richie laughed, as Eddie sat closer to Richie the boy soon pulling him into a kiss. Richie's nerves had completely gone, he closed his eyes and opened his mouth slightly and Eddie soon did the same. Fuck this feels amazing, i wish we could stay like this forever. Richie thought, holding Eddies face tightly. He wanted to slip a tounge in but didn't as he knew this was all new for Eddie and didn't want to (or need to) rush things. After a couple more seconds the two pulled away from each other, Eddie slightly dazed blushed as Richie smiled and pecked him on the lips once more. "Pancakes then?"

"Yeah." Eddie smiled, as the two left the tent and made their way to the rest of the losers.

Note: Holy sh't thankyou for 1.7k reads! I know there are some sensitive topics in this series and no doubt will be more (as i do love some angst ect) but some of the events are based on my own life and thoughts. So, please if you are offended or are not comfortable with topics discussed do say. Also, i know that Richie's dad is an asshole in this but i may change that later, as he is a nice guy in the original IT and would like to see some character development in this series for him. Thanks again!
