A New Chapter

Chapter 38

Previously-

"WE'RE MICE!" The others chuckled, agreeing to ditch school the next day and help Eddie out with his situation. 

Chapter 38-

It was 9am, the time all children should be at school on a Wednesday morning. Yet, all the losers were sat in Bill's house eating toast and drinking hot chocolate. Both Mike and Ben brought some blankets down for everyone whilst Bev and Richie went out for a smoke, leaving Eddie with Stan and Bill. 

"So, how you feeling Eddie?" Stan uttered, handing the boy another round of toast hoping it would make him feel better. 

"Better i guess, i'm just glad i'm away from her." Eddie sighed, biting into his breakfast. "Thanks by the way, for coming and all..."

"Y...you don't need t...to thank us." Bill smiled, instantly causing Eddie to form a small smile aswell. "S...so do you want t...to talk about w...what happened?" 

"Might aswell." Eddie uttered, waiting for the rest of the group to rejoin he then began to explain the previous two days at home. "So, long story short....She found out about me and Richie...again... she was more furious than the last time, insisted that we stay at my Aunts for a while. Apparently she knows a really good therapist or something. I started yelling at her saying that i'm not sick, which just made her more angry. In the end she locked me in my room and took my phone away from me." 

"Shit Eddie." Ben muttered, the group were at a loss for words. They knew Sonia was a terrible mother, but this was a new level of low, even for her. "We're all really sorry." 

"Look, Eddie." Beverly uttered, placing a hand on his shoulder to grab the boys attention. "We were all talking last night and came up with an idea, you don't need to panic or rush into it. But just think about it." 

"W...what is it?" Eddie replied, looking around at everyone who all fixated their eyes on Richie. "Richie?" 

"Well, you're 18 soon and you said that you're leaving after your birthday. So we thought that, maybe you could stay here." Richie smiled, wrapping his arm around his boyfriend. "You could live with me and my dad." 

"That's insane!" Eddie blurted, standing upright and letting go of Richie's grasp. "That's t...tha."

"S...someone get his i..inhailer!" Bill exclaimed, instantly noticing the boy weezing and panicking. Mike was the first to arise and ran upstairs to retrieve the boys inhailer, dashing back down he soon placed it into the boys mouth and helped him inhale. 

"Better?" Mike uttered.

"Yeah, thanks." Eddie smiled, embarrassed with his actions. "Richie, iv'e never been away from mumm--- mum for more than 2 weeks, this is asking a lot." 

"Your mum's insane Eddie, she makes you miserable!" Richie blurted back, now standing aswell whilst the rest of the group stayed sitting quietly. "I want to be with you Ed's, she can't separate us!" 

"But, your dad and the bills he has to pay and..."

"Eddie!" Richie butted in. "My dad loves you, he loves all you guys. He won't care, in fact he'll probably be happy about it. You don't need to worry okay, we're all off to university soon so you'll have to leave your mum then anyway." 

"You have a point." Eddie uttered, lowering his head and fumbling with his fingers. "Fuck it." 

"Is that a yes?" Richie smiled.

"Yes." Eddie smiled back. "How the hell are we going to do this?" 

"We'll figure it out!" Bev chimed in, grabbing both boys and hugging them tightly, soon after the rest of the group joined in relieved that Eddie had finally agreed to let his mother go and move on with his life. 

"So, how am i going to get away from her?" Eddie laughed, the group were now back at the barrens about to jump into the fresh water to cool off. "I mean really.."

"Well Ed's, i shall charm the wonderful woman whilst you grab your stuff from your room." Richie chuckled, nudging Eddie who was trying to hold in his laughter. 

"Yeah right, she'd slam the door on you just after seeing your face." Stan smiled, causing the group to burst into laughter. 

"Don't worry about it for today Eddie, we'll figure it out." Mike smiled, then without warning jumped along with Ben and Beverly. 

"A...and we n...need to w..worry about y...your birthday t...too!" Bill laughed, grabbing hold of Stan's hand and jumping in with him, leaving Richie and Eddie alone. 

"Thanks again Rich." Eddie smiled, looking up and seeing his boyfriends goofy smile on his face again. "I don't know what i'd do without you." 

"Well i am pretty amazing." Richie chuckled, but was soon cut off and Eddie grabbed the boys arm and gave him a kiss on the lips. Pulling away they looked at one another. "Can i kiss you more?" 

"Just shutup and do it idiot." Eddie smiled, closing his eyes the two joined their lips together again and this time their tongues began to wrap around one another and they parted with a wet click. "Even for a trashmouth, you're a pretty good kisser." 

"Well if you think i'm good at kissing you should see what i'm like at fu-"

"Beep beep Richie!" Eddie laughed, holding the boys hand and pulling him towards the edge of the cliff before the two jumped.
