Note- So as this is the big 30 i thought i would time jump a little. This is now set 2 years later so the group are all 17! I really wanted to do this as i love the Teenage losers concept, plus wanted them to all have flip phones and for a couple of them to start driving. Also, the group are now aware of Bill and Stan's relationship and Ben and Beverly are now officially dating - don't worry i don't plan on leaving Mike out, he will not be the single pringle of the group because in this house we stan MIKE. Furthermore, i live in England where the education system works differently so the group will be in college (coz idk how American schools work as well so i don't want to mess it up). Thanks!

Chapter 30!-

The group had all officially turned 17 and they were well on their way to deciding what they wanted to do with their lives and where they wanted to move to. Bev and Ben both wanted to move far away together, but make sure they had a spare bedroom for Ben's mother so they could look after her in her older years. Bill and Stan agreed to live somewhere quite and close to nature, as they both loved peacefulness of it and thought it would suit the two best. Mike told the group he had his heart set on California as he loved the sun and dreamed of travelling, he also confessed that his parents used to love going on holiday there so he wanted to experience what they did years ago. Eddie and Richie on the other hand wanted to move to New York, they loved the hustle and bustle and both wanted  careers that would suit them best there. Its true that they would all be separating, but times were moving fast and they agreed it was easy to keep in touch and still meet one another. They were all sitting on the grass next to the quarry having this discussion together on a weekend.

"Rich promise me you will buy a new car if we go to New York, i don't want to die on route." Eddie sighed, grabbing a sandwich which Bev and Ben made before meeting the others.

"Aww come on Ed's don't throw shade on ol' FIfi." (NOTE: THAT'S MY CARS NAME) Richie laughed, rubbing the top of Eddie's head causing the boy to drop some of his sandwich and glare up at the boy. "Or you could get a car and drive babe."

"Yeah that will be the day." Eddie scoffed. "My mum would kill me."

"She won't follow us to New York, i'm going to keep you in hiding." Richie winked, he knew Sonia would never allow Eddie to drive or even be seen in a car with someone other than herself but he knew the boy wanted to learn to drive eventually.

"Looking forward to it." Eddie laughed. "I'm surprised your dad hasn't taken the keys off of you yet."

"You kidding? I drive better than him!" Richie laughed, along with the others. Since last year Richie's dad had improved a lot, after divorcing his wife and starting a new job he had practically turned his life around. After a long conversation with Richie they agreed to move on from the past and to look out for one another, rather than fight. "Beside's he loves my driving!"

"I wouldn't go that far Rich." Bev laughed, hugging Ben opposite Bill and Stan. Bev's home life also took a turn for the better, after her new neighbour overheard her fathers abuse the police were soon called. However, due to Bev's aunt not being stable enough to take custody Ben's mother agreed to let her stay with them which only made Ben's life ten times better as well. "You're not exactly a pro racer."

"Hey! You guys can get in the car with slow-pokes over here then on the way back." Richie laughed, pointing at Stan who simply flipped him off.

"Rather be slow and cautious than quick and die." Stan grumbled, laying down and wrapping his arm around Bill whose head was now leaning on the boy's chest.

The group had been laughing and talking for the rest of the day, until the sun began to set and Eddie's phone began beeping. Time for the group to head home, Sonia would not be impressed if he was late. Bill, Mike and Stan jumped into Stans car whilst Eddie occupied Richies.

"You sure you don't want a life lovebirds?" Richie shouted from the drivers seat towards Ben and Bev. "Promise i wont kill you."

"Nah, we are gunna walk back tonight." Bev smiled, pulling a cigarette out and linking arms with Ben as they headed home. Richie soon put his foot on the pedal and overtook Stan, there was no way he was getting stuck behind him for their journey home.

"Can't you convince your mum to stay at mine tonight babe?" Richie sighed, he hated that Eddie's mum was still just as strict as ever - even though he was nearly an adult. "Pleaseeee."

"Rich, you know i can't." Eddie sighed, grabbing onto the side of the door in fear of them crashing. "She said i have to be back before 8pm that's my curfew."

"Well, it's only 6pm so why not eat at mine?" Richie beamed, turning his head and winking at Eddie.

"Fine, but i have to be gone by half 7!" Eddie snapped, but his words blew past Richie as his smile grew larger. The two soon sped off to Richie's house to prepare for dinner. "So, what do you want to eat?" Richie asked, as the two walked into the front door.

"Anything but pizza." Eddie scoffed, taking his shoes off and heading towards the kitchen. He loved how clean the house was, ever since Richie's mum left the place looked completely different. Plus the smell of alcohol had been replaced with air freshener and candle's, which didn't always help Eddie's asthma but he wasn't going to complain.

"Well, we can have Stew?" Richie smiled. "Dad went and bought the shopping yesterday, so i can make enough for three of us. He can just reheat his later when he's back from work."

"Sounds great." Eddie smiled back, rummaging through the cupboard for the ingredients. "Rich, i know iv'e said it before but i'm glad you and your dad are getting on."

"Me too." Richie smiled. "I just wish mum would at least visit, but hey could be worse!"

"Sorry Rich, but yeah it's nice to see you happier at home." Eddie smiled, he knew Richie missed his mum even if she never really cared for him. She even said the day of their divorce that she was happy to start a new life and have a daughter, to forget she ever had a son. "Richie, do you think we would be good parents?"

"Woah Ed's i haven't even proposed yet." Richie laughed. "We haven't even had se-"

"Shutup!" Eddie snapped. "It's just, i'm worried i would end up like my mum."

"And i'm worried i would end up like my mum too, but that will never happen." Richie smiled, as he began stiring the stew. "Stop worrying and pass me the bowls." As Eddie handed him the cutlery the two sat down to eat.

"This looks great, thanks Rich." Eddie smiled, leaning over to give the boy a quick peck on the lips. It was only then that they heard the front door slam shut and see Richie's dad staring at them at the end of the hallway.

"Hey Dad....." Richie uttered nervously.

"Richie..." He replied.
