A New Chapter

Chapter 34

Previously-

"B...But your anniversary i..is not o...over yet." Bill let out. "I h...have an idea, w...we'll b...be there in an h...hour." With that he took Beverly's phone and hung up on Richie, unable to stop him Richie simply put his phone in his pocket and made a hot drink for Eddie and himself waiting for the others to arrive. 

Chapter 34-

An hour had passed and the rest of the losers were yet to arrive, Richie managed to get Eddie to sit up and sip his drink slowly. The two cuddled up watching random shows on TV and eating some cereal - the only thing Eddie seemed to be able to stomach. As Richie began putting the bowls away there was a knock on the front door, swiftly running to it he opened it to be greeted by sympathetic smiles. 

"Hey losers." Richie smiled, revealing his bruised cheek to the others. 

"Hey, we're really sorry about what happened." Mike smiled, resting his hand on Richie's shoulder. 

"Yeah, what Mike said." Ben uttered, as the others agreed. 

"Hey, it's alright Eddie's a little better now just tired really." Richie replied, gesturing the others to come in. 

"N...no you need t...to follow u...us." Bill beamed, looking rather happy and accomplished. "Its a s...surprise."

"Okay, lemme get Eddie. He can't really walk though." Richie sighed. 

"Don't worry we've planned this out Rich." Bev laughed, as they revealed Mike's bike with a trailer attached to the end of it with a cushion inside it. 

"You know he's going to moan like fuck when you put him in that fucking thing." Richie laughed. 

"Yeah we know but you'll like the surprise." Bev chuckled along with the others. Mike soon picked Eddie up who began sputtering shit about how dangerous the trailer was, and sat him inside of it.

"I swear to god if i fall out and die.." Eddie sighed, folding his arms like a child as the others grabbed their bikes and began to cycle. "Where are we even going?" 

"It's a surprise!" Stan shouted, as they cycled towards the woods. "How many times are you going to ask?" 

As they made their way into the woods both Richie and Eddie were shocked and moved by what they saw next. In the middle of the meadow stood a picnic basket with a blanket layed out next to it, accompanied by fairy lights around the tree and an old radio. 

"W...we wanted y...you guys to have the a...anniversary you d...deserved." Bill smiled, helping Mike pick Eddie up from the trailer. 

"Fuck guys, this is amazing!" Richie teared up, hugging Bev and Ben. 

"Yeah, this is really cool. Thankyou." Eddie blushed, hugging Stan Bill and Mike. 

"We'll leave you guys to it. We'll pick you up later when it gets dark out." Bev smiled, as the others rode off waving the two goodbye as they headed over to the blanket. 

"I guess we have some decent friends." Richie laughed, opening the basket to find a array of foods and drinks along with some playing cards and a notebook and pen. 

"Decent. Rich we're so fucking lucky." Eddie teared up, resting his head on Richies shoulder. 

"We are." Richie smiled, wrapping his arm around the boy. "I'm so fucking lucky to have you too Ed's." 

"Stop calling me that asshole!" Eddie chuckled, lifting his head to kiss the boy on the cheek. "Let's eat!" 

Note- Sorry this chapter is so short! I have been preoccupied with Uni shit, renting a house and ew just grown up stuff. Also, thankyou for 4k reads i'm in shock!!!
