Chapter 29

"Yeah." They all agreed, except Bev who was still fast asleep on Ben's lap.

Chapter 29-

Eddie swiftly followed Richie into Mike's garden, he obviously had no intentions of using Mike's bathroom but Eddie was too worried about Richie to care about that right now. As he watched Richie stumble about after a couple of minutes he watched the boy head in his direction back to the barn. 

"Rich what the hell was that all about?" Eddie snapped, making the boy jump as he approached him in the dark.

"Ed's fucking hell don't do that you scared me." Richie gasped, grabbing his chest and breathing heavily. "Can't i take a leak in peace?"

"Sorry i didn't mean to scare you, but everyones worried about you." Eddie sighed, looking up at the boy who was visibly swaying back and fourth. "Have this, i grabbed it on the way out the barn." With that Eddie handed the boy a glass of water. "Please."

"Fine." Richie sighed, guzzling the glass of water down. "Happy?" 

"What's gotten into you?" Eddie sighed, as Richie pushed past him.

"Nothing." 

"Don't give me that bullshit Richie. We had this conversation this morning." Eddie sighed, following the boy back to the barn and pulling on his arm. 

"I just..." Richie sighed. "I feel like i get judged for anything i do by you guys. I'm the trashmouth who ruins everything. You can all get drunk and have fun but as soon as i do it i'm in the wrong. I cause more harm than good to you guys." 

"That's bullshit Rich. We were just worried coz you had a lot to drink." Eddie uttered, noticing Richie had a few tears in his eyes he began wiping the boys tears away. "Please don't think we hate you or anything, we all love you Rich. You really do overthink things sometimes." 

"Say's you." Richie softly laughed, leaning his head onto Eddie's chest. "I'm sorry for getting drunk and stupid." 

"You don't need to be sorry, we did the night before. Tonight was your's and Bev's turn." Eddie laughed, but it soon fizzled out when he noticed Richie's hands gliding up the boys back. "Ugh Richie?" 

"You look so cute in this tux Ed's." Richie let out, moving his head so his eyes could meet Eddie's. "I'm so lucky." 

"Shutup." Eddie blushed. "But, you look good too i guess." With no hesitation Richie swiftly brought Eddie into a long kiss, the two wrapping their arms around one another. The taste of alcohol hit Eddie's lips but he didn't care, it felt to good to stop. 

"Love you Ed's." Richie smiled, pulling away from the boy. "Now, you wanna go in and dance?" 

"You up to it Rich? Because i swear to god if you fall over or something." Eddie snapped, following Richie into the barn with the others. 

"I'll be fine, i wanted to slow dance with you all night." Richie confessed, as the two entered the barn the others faces lit up when they noticed how happy Richie looked. 

"Can i make a song request haystack?" Richie smiled. 

"Of course." Ben let out, heading to the stereo and changing the song. "Sorry about getting on at you earlier Richie." 

"Yeah sorry." The other let out, lowering their heads slightly in guilt.

"No i'm sorry, i know you guys were just worried." Richie smiled, reaching his hand out for Eddie to take. "Ma lady." 

"Oh fuck you Rich." Eddie hissed before taking Richie's hand and slow dancing with him. 

"One day, when we figure this out maybe we can do that." Stan whispered into Bill's ear, which turned bright red as the boy uttered these words.
