"Sounds like a dream Big Bill." Richie smiled, as the other agreed and began digging into their meal together.

Chapter 28-

"Okay Ben, it's still your birthday weekend so how do you want to proceed with the second party?" Richie chimed, helping Bill stack the plates and hand them to Mike at the sink who started washing up.

"Oh you guys have already done enough, honestly just hanging out with you guys is all i need." Ben blushed, he did have something in mind and already prepared but he was too embarrassed to say.

"Come on Ben, you have something in mind. We planned it together." Mike smiled, meeting Ben's eyes who were clearly full of nerves. "It's your weekend."

"Yeah, come on Ben!" Bev smiled. "You've prepared for it and everything, just tell us!"

"Okay, but promise you wont make fun of me." Ben uttered, gazing his eyes towards Richie in particular who snickered slightly forcing Eddie to slap him. "Well... i thought it would be nice if we all dressed up, me and Mike found some old prom dresses and suits from the lost and found and old charity shops for you all. I don't know, i have never been to a ball or dance so i thought it would be nice."

"I love that Ben!" Bev cheered. "Show me the dress pleaseeee." Bev soon jumped up and grabbed Bens hands and he lead her into Mikes room as well as the others, where to two had hidden all of the clothes.

"This is so lame." Richie whispered into Eddie's ear as they followed the group.

"Shutup, it's his weekend." Eddie hissed back, recieveing a laugh from Stan and Bill who overheard them in front.

"It is pretty lame." Stan laughed, keeping his voice low.

"And that's coming from birdboy!" Richie chuckled.

Eddie and Bill simply ignored the two's moans and followed Ben into the bedroom. He had carefully hung all of the groups clothes up, making sure Bev's red sequin dress was front and centre.

"Ben this is beautiful!" Bev smiled, running her fingers along the dress. "Where did you find this?"

"It was my mothers back at prom, she's kept it ever since." Ben smiled, he was hoping she would like it as he spent the last week sewing the fallen sequins back on. "It just reminded me of your hair."

"Winter fire right." Bev laughed, bringing Ben into a hug. "Thankyou."

"Okay love birds can we quit it with the poetry and love making already." Richie sighed, causing Eddie to snap at him again and the others to laugh.

"Oh shutup Richie you spoilsport." Bev laughed. "So, who's wearing what?"

"Well, Mike, Stan and Me have brown suits with red ties as i thought we would suit them and they are the only sizes i could find in them. Richie and Bill have black suits, again i could only find black suits that would fit you guys." Ben uttered.

"Nice, c...classic." Bill smiled, trying to give Ben a little more confidence he had put a lot of work into this and wanted him to have a good night.

"What about me?" Eddie butted in, worrying that he would be the only one without a suit.

"Well....there was an issue with that." Mike uttered, rubbing the back of his head. "See, because of your height we couldn't find any black or brown suits for you they were all too long and baggy."

"So i haven't got one." Eddie muttered. "It's okay i don't mind." He didn't want to dishearten Ben or Mike, plus he couldn't blame them it was hard to find clothes for his short stature and petite figure.
