"Yeah." Eddie smiled, as the two left the tent and made their way to the rest of the losers.

Chapter 27-

As soon as the two walked in to greet the others the smell of pancakes made Richie run to Bev, pestering her to make some more for the two. Whilst he began helping her make more mixture, Bill gestured for Eddie to sit next to him among the other losers.

"H...how you f...feeling?" Bill smiled, pouring a glass of orange juice for Eddie. "Y...you had your m...medication?"

"Yeah, thanks Bill." Eddie smiled, taking a sip of his drink. Bill really was like Eddie's big brother, and he loved it. Loosing his dad had been hard on Eddie, but having a brother figure like Bill had always helped him.

"You really went for it last night Eddie." Mike laughed, eating the last of his pancake.

"I could say the same about you Mike." Eddie laughed, remembering Mike and Ben passed out on the floor for the majority of the night. "And you Ben."

"Don't it's so embarrassing." Ben blushed, he knew he couldn't handle his drink but he never realised he would practically pass out after only a couple of drinks. "No way am i drinking tonight."

"Me neither." The other losers laughed, even Bill and Stan agreed. They had all began to chatter about the night before, all embarrassing one another and agreeing that none of them would drink again tonight. "Yeah, i don't think my dad would be happy if he sees me with a hangover tomorrow." Stan laughed, knowing his dad was not fond of people drinking or smoking.

"Yeah, i'm n..not drinking either." Bill smiled, beginning to stack his and Stan's plates together. "I have s...speech therapy t..tomorrow night." Just as the losers all agreed, Richie and Bev entered with a load of fresh pancakes for Eddie and Richie.

"Yo, sup lightweights." Richie laughed, sitting the other side of Eddie and handing him a plate.

"Fuck off Richie, we drank more than you." Stan sighed.

"Not tonight my friend, i am drinking as Ed's here can't handle two nights in a row." Richie smirked, as he began loading his pancakes with golden syrup and butter.

"Shutup asshole, i'm not having my mum find out iv'e been drinking!" Eddie snapped, snatching the maple syrup and beginning to pour some on his own pancakes. "If you're drinking tonight someone's got to look out for you anyway."

"Awww mother Ed's is back again." Richie laughed, rubbing the top of Eddie's head aggravating the boy. "So, anyone else up for drinks again?"

"No way." Ben laughed, the rest of the group soon agreed (except Bev).

"Fair enough, but as i looked after you all last night i think i deserve a couple of drinks tonight." Bev chuckled, looking at Ben and Mike who were both now blushing in embarrassment. The losers soon agreed that Bev and Richie deserved a few drinks tonight, as they were the ones who bought the alcohol and looked after them the night before.

"So, what did you want to do today?" Bev perked up, perching next to Ben at the end of the kitchen table. "You guys up to do anything?"

"Sleep?" Stan sighed, rubbing his head. "Sorry Bev but i don't think i feel like doing much today."

"Yeah i'm p...pretty warn out t...too." Bill agreed, resting his head in his hands and leaning closer to Stan. "P..plus it's so h...hot outside."

"You guys are a bunch of pussys." Richie sighed. "Come on we need to do something!"

"Want to go for a swim Rich?" Bev suggested, the others soon shook their heads - the idea of even jumping into the quarry made their heads spin. "Just us two i guess."
