Note- I know that everyone interprets Richie's parents differently in fanfiction. However, as i do love a bit of angst i will be making Richie's parents as basically antagonists (just a pre-warning for future chapters).

Previously-

"RICH!" Eddie yelled, trying to dunk Richie in but was unable to. "Asshole."

"Come on, let's head back." Richie laughed, as they both swam back to their picnic.

Chapter 9-

As both boys dried off and packed their things, they began cycling back to Richie's. The sun had began to set and the cold breeze started turning the two's cheeks red. Racing home, Richie wanted to rush to his room before Eddie as he didn't clean everything up. However, to his surprise the boy was able to keep up his pace and they both ended up going upstairs together heaving out of breath and rubbing their arms trying to warm up.

"Hey Edwardo can you just pop this in the kitchen for me?" Richie questioned, handing Eddie the picnic basket.

"Fineee...But, don't call me that stupid name!" Eddie sighed, he couldn't refuse Richie's dorky smile and after all he did for him today this was the least he could do. "You wan't a drink?"

"Ohhhh yeah please Ed's! I think mum has some hot chocolate in the cupboard." Richie suggested, his parents didn't have much in the house so he did stock up on things a few days before. "Get the whisky too!"

"Shutup Rich do you have any idea how dangerous alcohol is! Plus you're under age!" Eddie shouted back, placing the picnic basket in the kitchen and getting out the hot chocolate from the cupboard. Luckily this gave Richie some time to clean his room a little, chucking his magazines and mix tapes on his desk and piling up his dirty clothes scattered across the floor. He didn't want Eddie to be disgusted by his room for a second time. "Rich open the door idiot, my hands are full."

"Shit sorry Ed's." Richie rushed to the door and allowed Eddie to enter his 'slightly clean' room. "Just put them anywhere darling." Richie smiled, winking at Eddie as he did as he was asked.

"Quit it with the nicknames asshole!" Eddie pouted, but Richie wasn't stupid he could see the small smile in the corner of Eddie's lips. "Now, what have you planned for tea?"

"Well Edward." Richie grinned, picking up his hot chocolate and taking a quick gulp without blowing on it. "Ouch, fuck that's hot!"

"Obviously idiot, it's in the fucking name!" Eddie sighed, sitting next to Richie on the bed and getting the boy to open his mouth in case he badly injured it. "You're fine."

"I dunno, kiss it better?" Richie whimpered, quivering his bottom lip and giving Eddie his puppy dog eyes. "Pleaseee."

Without hesitation Eddie squinted his eyes shut and left a soft peck on Richie's lips, he was hoping Eddie would do more but he wasn't going to pressure him, a kiss from Eddie was still more than he could ever ask for.

"So tea?" Eddie sighed, his stomach was grumbling slightly causing the boy to flush red with embarrassment.

"Awww Eddie Spaghetti is hungry." Richie teased. "Well, don't you worry because tonight we shall feast like kings!" As he lifted his chest and pointed towards the ceiling Eddie couldn't help but chuckle slightly. "Tonight we shall feast on pizza and ice cream. The junk food we all need in life sometimes."

"Wow a real master chef you are." Eddie laughed, he was expecting Richie to cook something like this but he couldn't complain as he was a worse cook than Richie (never being allowed anywhere near cooking utensils back at home, he never had the chance).
