"Wait, she was actually jealous??" Ryujin sits up, finding that piece of information a little hard to believe. For the most part, Yeji's usually a happy person.
Ryujin's never been in a relationship before, so choosing how to act around others is something she supposes they both have to learn. She wants to talk it over with Yeji now, just to discuss healthy boundaries because at this moment she's a bit paranoid. In all honesty, she only spoke to the girl out of kindness, and once she realized her intentions, she politely said no and resumed the conversation she was having with her friends.
"Yeah. She acted calm about it, though."
"Did I do something wrong? Should I not have acknowledged the girl?"
"Don't be ridiculous. You weren't at fault, and she knows that. She just had a natural reaction."
She's on the phone with Chaeryeong, wanting to know how Yeji is doing and how the rest of the brunette's day went. "So, she's not mad at me?"
"She didn't say, but I'm sure she wasn't. She seemed to trust you."
Now relieved thanks to her friend's reassurance, both girls continued their talk until suddenly the short-haired girl felt a buzz from her phone. She got a text from an unknown number and it was... unsettling, to say the least.
"Yeah and so I tried to tell Hyunjin that she should hurry and-- "
"Aaaaand what?"
"Chaeryeong?"
"Yeah?"
"Can you tell me if you know this number?"
"Read it off to me, and I'll dial it to see if it shows up in my contacts."
"XXX-XXX-XXXX..." Ryujin sighs, trying to control her temper. She's no longer in a good mood. "It's not who I think it is, right?"
"If you're talking about Yeon--"
"Ew, don't say his name."
"Okay... Anyway, it's not him. And I don't have it either. But that was random. Why do you ask?"
"I just got a text from them and— "
BZZZ!
Another notification. Ryujin brings the phone away from her ear, making sure to put Chaeryeong on speaker. "One second. I just got another message— "
"...Ryujin?"
She stays quiet, rubbing her eyes to make sure she isn't seeing things, and pinching her arm to make sure she isn't dreaming.
"Ryujin, what is it?"
Ryujin didn't answer, she couldn't. She stared at her screen in disbelief, eyes as wide as can be. Also, she didn't know how to feel, and that worried her because she knew her first initial thought should've been denial. Quite frankly, she hated that some part of her believed what she had just witnessed.

The Next Morning...
Yeji wakes up this morning in a weak state of mind. Her mood completely agrees with the sky, dark grey clouds almost covering every inch of it, hardly letting any of the sun's rays shine through. The only thing getting her out of bed is the fact that she can sneak some time in with her girlfriend.
