I just want to note for both old and new readers that although this story was written somewhat differently before it is still considered mature. Please keep that in mind as you continue to read. Yes, many scenes may be rewritten or removed, but I've decided that a few will stay unlike the others I've taken out prior to this chapter. Thank you :)
After their time with Grandma Shin, the couple returned to the hotel. Both were in a much better mood than they were this morning.
While Ryujin gathered some pajamas from her bag before she showered, Yeji saw the little opening at the counter to the kitchen. She thought it resembled that of a restaurant's order window and walked around the edge to the other side with a sweet grin. "Hello! Here is the Yeji that you ordered."
Caught off guard, Ryujin took a step back but, directly after, finds the cat-eyed girl's actions really cute as she gazed at her standing there. However, she wanted to tease and chose to mess with her. "Uh, heh, I will not take that."
"Fine. Then I'll just go." Yeji huffed and shuffled back around, headed straight for the bed. Ryujin thought she implied she'd just leave, though, unaware that actually wouldn't make sense considering the time.
"IM KIDDING! I'm kidding." Speedily, before Yeji had a chance to make it to the bed, from behind, she enveloped her arms around the girl's waist. "I still have you for another day, don't I?"
A day would mean another twenty-four hours, or something like that... but Mama Hwang stated Yeji would have to leave early on Sunday.
"Uhm, sort of. My mom says I should leave tomorrow afternoon because of school the next day. As much as I want to tell her one day won't matter, she's our principal and would definitely disagree."
"No, I get it. School is important."
"I'm sure I can visit again next weekend, though, so long as your family is okay with it."
Grief quickly dissolved into delight, and Ryujin deemed she was somewhat bipolar, considering her mood was ridiculously switching with just the mention of a few words. "I have no doubt that they will be. They love you. But... your mom...?"
"She has no real reason to say no. I'm sure it'll be fine."
"Then that'll be what I look forward to."
Happy, Yeji stooped her head to hide her smile a bit and playfully tapped the other's arm before forcing her to get back to what she was doing. "Hurry and shower. I'm sleepy."
"Okay, okay." Ryujin complied and finished gathering the things she needed. Once she grabbed her clothes, she smirked. "You can always come with, you know."
"R- Ryujin!" Yeji's face flushed quicker than ever, and the younger basked in her ability to make Yeji so red. It sure gave her a good laugh.
"HAHA! You're literally the embodiment of a tomato right now."
"I— GO SHOWER."
Unaware, the garments Ryujin had in hand dropped to the floor while her girlfriend had both of her hands pressed against her back, pushing her through the door and shutting it.
Relieved, Yeji sat on the bed and relaxed for a few moments until her stomach growled. She could never go to sleep on an empty stomach. So, after scanning through what Mr. and Mrs. Shin brought for them, she concluded that, without a desire to cook, a bowl of cereal should suffice.
While she waited for her partner to finish showering, she ate and watched some funny videos of TWICE on YouTube. About ten or so minutes later, she heard the bathroom door crack open and glanced over, spotting the short-haired girl's head poking out.
