Chapter 28

Aella Theos smiled to Bella as she and Jake walked back into the house.

"Hey. Everything okay?" Bella's concern was obvious.

"It's not as if we're the ones carrying a demon baby." Jacob teased.

Bella chuckled slightly at his words.

"Bella, this is a pretty big decision. Why don't you tell Jake and Aella what you've decided?" Rosalie said.

"What? What now?" Jacob asked.

Aella sighed, rubbing the sides of her head. "More decisions?"

Edward laughed, sitting closer to Bella. "Rose is trying to talk Bella out of her baby names."

"She hates them" Bella added, Rose rolling her eyes.

"Well, I'm on your side no matter what you pick." Jacob told her, shrugging.

"They're not that bad. If it's a boy EJ. Edward Jacob." Jacob and Edward shared a look, slightly smiling.

"It doesn't have a ring to it but it's not the worst." Aella spoke, thinking the name over.

"Okay, fine. That one isn't awful. Tell them the girl's name." Rosalie relented.

"I was playing around with our mom's names. Renee and Esme. And I was thinking Renesmee."

Jacob and Aella both froze, Aella testing the name.

"Ren- renesmee?" Jacob stuttered. Edward chuckled again.

Bella winced. "Too weird?"

"Um-"

"-No it's not too weird. It's beautiful. I like Renesmee, it's unique. It certainly fits the situation." Edward stated, the couple sharing a smile.

"It's a different name." Aella said, Bella laughing.

Rosalie handed Bella her cup, rolling her eyes. "They like it." Bella told the blonde, the cup falling out of her grip.

"Oh!"

Bella bent over to pick it up, a crack sounding throughout the room. She screamed, everyone running towards her.

The next few moments happened in a flash, Edward catching Bella before she hit the ground. He carried her to Carlisle's office, everyone following.
