Kelsey Ionne Fitzgerald Reyes smiled as she stared at her reflection in the mirror. Pakiramdam niya ay nagtutubig na naman ang kanyang mga mata ngunit napakagaan ng kanyang pakiramdam. This will gonna be the perfect day of our lives, she told herself. Napatingin siya sa kanyang ina nang hawakan nito ang kanyang anak.

"Are you nervous?" Isabel asked but Kei shook her head. "You are so beautiful, anak," her mother added.

Nakaupo silang magkatabi sa harapan ng vanity mirror ng isang exclusive suite sa Alecza. Kakatapos lang silang parehong ayusan ng make up artists.

Kei smiled at Isabel. "Salamat po, 'Mmy," she said as she gave the older woman's hand a squeeze. "This day has finally arrived! I'm so excited for today."

"I'm so happy for you, anak," Isabel smilingly said.

Pinagmasdan ni Kei ang kanyang ina. True enough, she could see how happy her mother was for her. On that moment, everything seemed to fall on thei right places and Kei could not ask for more.

"A perfect wedding day is what every girl wants. But not everyone is given the chance to get married. I am so happy that you'll have your own fairy tale come true."

Malungkot na napangiti si Kei sa sinabing iyon ng kanyang ina. She knew where Isabel was coming from. Her mother ended up loving a man who married other woman.

"Are you happy with all of these, 'Mmy?" she queried.

Isabel's forehead creased. "What do you mean?"

"You told me that you still love Dad," Kei whispered. "This situation must really hard for you. Dahil sa amin ni Kian ay napipilitan kang makihalubilo kina Dad at Ninang pero hindi mo lang sinasabi sa akin."

Natawa si Isabel sa sinabing iyon ng kanyang anak. "Don't think that way, anak. Ano ka ba? It's your wedding day! Dapat happy lang tayong lahat!"

"I'm just wondering how are you coping up with all of these," Kei mumbled.

"Acceptance," Isabel spoke and her daughter looked at her in confusion. "I learned to accept everything kaya hindi na rin naman ako umaasa pa. I am truly happy for Karlo and Lauren. Hindi ba sabi ko sa'yo na matagal ko nang tinanggap na hindi kami pwede ni Karlo? I let go of things and accept the whole situation. Kaya kahit na mayroon pa akong nararamdaman para sa kanya, masaya ako na makita siyang masaya kay Lauren. Kapag natuto kang tanggapin ang lahat ng bagay, matututo ka ring maging masaya sa lahat ng bagay."

"You'rw such a strong woman, 'Mmy." Kei smiled at her mother.

"Huwag mo akong masyadong isipin, anak. This day is about you and Kian. And I am truly happy for the both of you. Suportado ko kayo sa lahat ng bagay."

"Maraming salamat po, 'Mmy," Kei said before hugging her mother tightly.

They heard a knock on the door at sabay silang napatingin mula roon. Nakita nilang dumungaw si Karlo mula sa pintuan. He was already on his three piece suit. He smiled at the both of them.

Nanatili ang tingin niya sa kanyang anak na hindi nawawala ang kanyang ngiti. "You look perfect, Kei," he said and his daughter blushed.

"Mana sa Mommy!" Isabel ribbed and the three of them laughed.

"I just checked if you two are ready? Nasa simbahan na raw sina Kian at ang ibang mga bisita."

"Magbibihis na lang si Kei pagkatapos ay pwede na tayong umalis," Isabel replied.
