When y/n woke up the arms she'd been surrounded in the night before vanished.
She rubbed her eyes and began to look at her surroundings. The rough feelings of denim brushed against her soft arms. The piece of material slipping away from her body without effort.
It was a jean jacket, she knew exactly where it came from.
'MJ...'
She shook her head with half of a smile almost allowing herself to cry.
That's when the sound of rustling on the far end of the class interrupted her.
She immediately shot her body to the wall behind her, afraid it was a crawler looking for its next meal.
'Please...'
She begged shutting her eyes tightly.
she hoped it would just forget about her and move on. She wasn't ready to experience the pain her former classmate: Flash had.
All she could really do was hope.
Hope: that it was full enough to just leave her alone. Hope: that it was weak enough for her to fight. Hope: that it wasn't even a crawler.
She trembled at the thought of dying in the claws of a creature like that.
This wasn't how she wanted to die, it was nowhere close to how she pictured her last day on Earth.
"Please just go away, please just go away." She begged lowly not bothering to open her eyes.
She'd been so caught up in the deep end of her own mind she didn't realize that whatever it was had already made its way to her.
"Hey, y/n" it said softly.
She couldn't hear the voice her ears wouldn't let her. This had been happening a lot since yesterday. Her ears would drown out every sound around her.
"Y/n?.." the voice spoke quietly again, this time coming in contact with her.
She felt a hand, this was no creature of any kind, she'd felt this hand before, nobody's hand was this soft nor warm.
