Peter swung through what was left of New York City, the mixture of snow and wind fighting against them both, it felt like blades against their skin either one of them could've cried out in pain.
'gosh it's cold.'
for some odd reason, her thoughts seemed loud again.
maybe they were.
Her mind did that a lot, oftentimes she'd wonder if was speaking out loud. Ever since everything happened.
When the world went quiet.
All she thought about was how loud her thoughts were...
- even when they weren't.
"Isn't that it?!" Y/n asked.
She pointed at a building even though she could barely see due to the weather's terrible conditions. Her hand shook against the cold air, the nerves she never existed caused her body to jerk and tremble against Peter's body, but she'd figured she'd been right taken that she saw a huge antenna sticking from the top of the building.
"Yeah," Peter replied tiredly. He thanked God he was even able to get his words out.
The girl clinched onto Peter as he swung to a stop. Peter finally landed on the building next to the station- assuming it'd be safer to keep his distance from the location.
He looked at y/n rubbing his thumbs against her cheeks before leaving her for no more than a few seconds.
Although he hated himself for it he had to leave her, just so he could scout for an entrance all while making sure the crawlers were out of sight.
Oddly enough there was a broken window they could slip through if they were patient enough to do so.
Peter immediately rushed back to y/n. When he met her gaze for what felt like the first time he could feel a pull at his heart.
Her hair was covered in snow, her lips red and shiny, her cheeks and nose flushed with a darker hue that to some she wound appear sick.
Wasting no time he took her within his grasp and lead her to their way in.
Peter thought about it for a second before he went through first making the smallest amount of noise in case there was a crawler lurking around he hadn't noticed.
