Nightmares

Ahsoka was walking towards the Chancellor's office. Anakin and Obi Wan were following her. They all stopped outside his door; Anakin and Obi Wan stood outside it. They were backup is case it was needed. Ahsoka entered the office. She saw the Chancellor sitting at his desk. "Ahhh, Ahsoka my dear. Come in, come in." he greeted. "What can I do for you?" Ahsoka asked. "Tell me, how is your Master? I hear he's been having nightmares." the Chancellor said. He sounded concerned. "He was doing better." she started. "But now it's starting up again. He doesn't like to talk about it." she said calmly. "Most unfortunate." he commented. "Is that all you needed of me?" Ahsoka asked politely.

"Actually, no. I assume you know of Senator Amidala's kidnapping." "Yes. How did you know?" "Word travels fast my dear. I've heard rumors that she's on Naboo. Is it possible you could look for her?" he asked. "I'm sure Master Skywalker would be more than happy to rescue her." Ahsoka said calmly." "No." Palpatine stated firmly. "Anakin's mental state would make him incompatible for the mission. You will go alone." he stated. "I don't think Anakin would approve of that. He rarely lets me do anything alone. And considering his friendship with Senator Amidala, he would defiantly want to come." she said, her temper growing slightly. "What he has one of his headaches again. The ones that knock him out. What will you do then?" he inquired.

"How do you know about his headaches."  "You mentioned them earlier in our conversation, remember." he said. Ahsoka knew he was lying, but she had to keep her cover. "Yes I do remember." she said sweetly. "Good." he replied. Ahsoka could swear she heard darkness within his words. Her com link beeped. "If you'll excuse me, I have to take this." She turned and left swiftly. "Since we mentioned headaches." Palpatine muttered under his breath. He flicked his wrist and sent one too Anakin.

Anakin felt a wave from the force wash over him. "Oh no." he said. "What is it?" Obi Wan asked. "Not again."Anakin said. He closed his eyes as the headache started. He slowly fell to his knees, clutching his head. Ahsoka came out of the office to see Obi Wan holding Anakin up. "Headache?" she asked nervously. Obi Wan nodded. "We should get him back. We'll discuss your mission later." he responded grimly. They carried him through the Senate Building, trying to get to an exit. They were stopped numerous times by Senators asking what was wrong and offering to help. Eventually, they got out. They brought Anakin back to Padmé's apartment.
