Anakin got Padmé back their apartment. She spent half an hour in the bathroom throwing up. Anakin was with her, doing his best to comfort her. There was a knock on the door. "I'll get it." Anakin said sweetly. "Are you going to be ok?" he asked. "I'll be fine. It's just morning sickness." she replied. He gently kissed her forehead, then left to answer the door. He was surprised by who was there.

"Master Yoda. What are you doing here?" "Ask you the same, I could." the small green figure replied. "I came to visit Senator Amidala. She called me, saying she wasn't feeling well." Anakin lied. "Why are you here?" "Same as you. Where is she?" "In the bathroom. She's been throwing up for a while." "To the doctor, she should go." "She already did. It's nothing serious." "The bathroom, where is?" Yoda asked. "You go through the bedroom and take a right." Anakin replied. "Know her apartment well, you do."  "We're good friends. She invites me over here a lot." he said, trying not to raise suspicion. Yoda seemed to buy his answer. He wobbled in the direction of the bedroom, headed for the bathroom. Anakin walked a few steps ahead of him.

He got to the bathroom before Yoda did. Padmé was standing upright, fixing her hair. She saw Anakin and melted into his arms. She was tried and weak from vomiting for so long. But Anakin pushed her away. "How are you feeling Senator Amidala?" he asked. Why was he being so formal?  Then she noticed Master Yoda. "I'm alright Gen- wait how do I address you now that the War is over?" she asked. "Anakin is fine for now." he replied. Padmé nodded. "What can I do for you Master Yoda?" Padmé asked, looking down at him. "Came to visit you, I did. Sick, I heard you were." he replied. "I'm fine now." she said. Yoda nodded. "Better, I hope you get. Need you, the Republic does." "Thank You Master Yoda." Padmé responded, bowing slightly. Yoda smiled then walked out. As soon as she heard the door close, Padmé collapsed into Anakin. "I need to lie down." she whispered. Anakin helped her to the bed.

A few minutes later there was another knock on the door. Obi Wan and Ahsoka came in. "Sorry we're late. We would've gotten here sooner but we saw Yoda. What was he doing here?" Obi Wan said. "He came to check on Padmé." "How is she?" Ahsoka asked. "She stopped throwing up a little while ago. She's resting now." Anakin paused. "I'm guessing you have other questions." he said. The three sat down. "How long have you known?" Obi Wan asked. "I found out after we got back from our battle with Dooku. Why do you think I've been spending so much time with her. The morning sickness is a lot to handle." Anakin replied. "How long does she usually throw up for. "Anywhere between 30 to 45 minutes." "Poor Padmé." Ahsoka commented. "I know. I feel terrible for her." "You look like you have more questions." Obi Wan observed, looking at Ahsoka. "When is the baby due? Have you thought about names? Do you know the gender? What are you going to do if the baby is force sensitive?"

Anakin thought for a while. "It's October now, so the baby will be born some time in July. We haven't really thought about names yet. It's way too early to know the gender. And I haven't thought about the baby being force sensitive, but she probably will be since her dad is a Jedi." "Why did you call the baby a she? I thought you didn't know the gender." Ahsoka asked. "We don't." "Then why did you call the baby a she?" "Well what am I supposed to call her. She's a person not a thing. I refer to her as a girl. Padmé refers to her as a boy." "Interesting." Obi Wan concluded. Padmé came out. "Ani, can you-Oh. Hello Ahsoka. Hello Obi Wan." she greeted. Her skin was pale, and she looked tired. She came to the couch and curled up in Anakin's arms. 'I think it's best we go now." Obi Wan said getting up to leave. Ahsoka followed. When they were gone, Anakin kissed Padmé's forehead. "I love you." "I love you too."
