Nightmares

Anakin tried and failed to sleep for hours. He did however, manage to rest for several minutes. It wasn't much, but it was progress. Anakin stayed with Padmé for 2 more days. In that time, he slept for 8 hours. Once his short break was over, a sleep deprived Anakin was forced to return to war.

Shortly after he left, Padmé recived a call from Obi Wan. "How did it go?" Obi Wan asked. Hope was evident in his voice. He was clearly worried about Anakin. "He slept for 8 hours, and explained his nightmare to me." Padmé reported proudly. Despite his small hours of rest, he slept more in 2 days than he had in a week. She couldn't help feeling a little bit of pride. Obi Wan smiled upon hearing the news that Anakin had actually slept for the first time in a while. He was a little surprised to hear Anakin had told her about his nightmare, rather than him. Then again, she is a politician. He told himself. "What did he tell you about his nightmare. Be specific." He ordered. Padmé willingly explained everything Anakin had told her, in as much detail as she could. She left out any small detail that might raise suspicion of their relationship.

"Interesting." Obi Wan said as Padmé finished. I'll ask him more about this and see if there's anything I can do to help. Contact me if you get any new information." "Of course." she replied calmly. "I'd do anything to help a friend, especially Anakin." Obi Wan smiled at her reply. It was good to know she would contribute in any way she could.

Still, he could't help but wonder why Anakin was much more open to her about his problems. They're just good friends. He said, trying to ease his wandering mind. Is it possible they could be more than friends. He thought, No no, that would be crazy. Then again, this is Anakin. He survives on crazy.
