Meredith's Pov

"I don't know what is going on with you, but you need to clean your act up!" He yelled.

"What are you talking about?"I asked.

"You are showing up to work high, I have no choice but to suspend you for a month!" He yelled even louder.

"I'm not high!" I yelled back.

"You look high, and you were seen taking pills on hospital grounds!" He said harshly. Tears started to spill down my face. "I should fire you! You're lucky I'm not"  he yelled.

"I am not high Richard, I don't do drugs!" I yelled through sobs.

"Stop lying Grey, I saw you taking pills!" Addison yelled. I grabbed the candy out of my pocket.

"I ate a tic tac, see" I said showing him an almost empty pack of tic tacs.

"Bullshit" Addison whispered. I turned and gave her a harsh glare.

"That doesn't explain why you're eyes are red?" Richard said shaking his head.

"I was crying due to lack of sleep" I said coldly.  His face dropped in realization.

"Oh, I'm sorry Meredith, I am truly sorry!" He finally said.

"May I go?" I asked. He nodded and I left. 

"You don't fool me, unlike Richard I can see right through you!" Addison bellowed as she came up besides me.

"It was a fucking tic tac mint! Are you mad I didn't offer you one?" I asked bitterly.

She grabbed my wrist and held on for dear life. "Watch yourself Grey! People don't mess with me unless they want to get burned!" She replied harshly.

"Let go!" I yelled. I loosened her grip and walked off.

"Watch where you spew your gasoline Dr.Grey, because everything will burn!" She yelled. By now the entire hospital was watching. I didn't care, I just continued to walk away.
