Addison's Pov
I didn't believe one word that came from her mouth. Who takes a mint with water? Nobody who is sane. I was going to figure out what she was up to, weather she liked it or not.
"I need the medical records for my patient" I said.
"Patient name?" The nurse asked.
"Jamie Davis" I said. He checked for the file of her and handed them to me.
"Her you go Dr.Montgomery" I took the file and smiled.
"Thank you Nurse Riley" I said. He nodded and waved. I walked off scanning the chart.
"Got any good cases today?" Derek asked. We had become semi friendly over the past few weeks. We decided to give our marriage another try, and we were going to couples therapy.I had even moved back in with him, sort of. I stayed at the hotel sometimes and other times I stayed in the trailer.
"Not really, not since my TTTS case two weeks ago" I replied. He nodded and pointed at the file in my hand.
"What's that for?" He asked. I was confused at first, until I realized he was pointing at my patients medical files.
"Oh the file, I need my patients medical history" I said. "She doesn't remember what she can take so that because my job to figure it out" I added.
"That's nice, how about I sleep with you at the hotel tonight?" He asked softly.
"I would love that" I said pausing for a moment. "But I am working a double shift tonight so you will be sleeping with my pillows tonight" I added.
"Another time then" he said.
"Yeah another time" I replied. "Hey, quick question!" I said.
"Yeah?" He replied.
"Has Meredith ever come to work looking almost strung out?" I asked.
"She looks like that when she gets over tired, that's completely normal for her" he said as he scratched his head.
"Oh, that's explains a lot" I said. That's a lame excuse. How could he believe that?
