𝖥𝗂𝖿𝗍𝖾𝖾𝗇~ The prom~ part 1

Meredith's Pov

Izzie and the other interns had been sitting in the chiefs office for an hour while he sternly spoke with them.

"Bailey what's going on?" I asked.

"Your idiotic friends haven't told you?" She asks sarcastically.

"No, they haven't" I replied.

"You'll just have to find out yourself  than" Bailey said before scooting off.

"We have to plan a prom, for his niece!" Izzie said sternly.

"You're helping right? Because I have you and Dr.Montgomery on balloons" Alex says.

"On balloons for what?" Addison asked as she turned the corner.

"We are helping out with the prom for tonight" I said. They handed us each four bags filled with latex balloons and told us to blow them up with helium.

"So are you bringing Finn?" Addison asked.

"Yes, I am bringing him" I replied softly.

"That's good, how are you feeling today?" She asked.

"3.7" I said. She furrowed a brow.

"Negative or positive?" She asked sarcastically.

"Mmm, positive" I replied.

"That's better than before" she said.

"That's only right now, I could feel ready to jump off a bridge in an hour" I said.

"Meredith don't joke" she said firmly.

"I'm not, I'm being totally serious" I replied softly.

"Just blow up the balloons" she said with a slight chuckle.

"You can't handle dark humor?" I asked.

"Only little things, not the dark humor you are giving off" she said.

"You better get used to it, especially if I am being forced to visit the dog I gave you two" I replied giddily. I didn't feel sad like normal, I felt happy. And Addison made me feel better when she checked up on me. I was starting to enjoy her company a lot more than I had before.

"Put this in your mouth and don't talk" she said placid a piece of the sandwich we had been sharing in my mouth. Her finger softly touched my lip as she placed it onto my tongue. The contact of her skin to mine made me blush and get a warm tingly feeling inside. She blushed too. We continued blowing up the balloons within an hour and a half.

"Thanks for the help" I said. She nodded.

"Anytime" she said.

"Hey, w-what are you doing here?" I asked as Finn approached me.

"I came to see you, my beautiful girlfriend" he replied kissing me softly on the lips.

"Well it's actually a good thing you came, because I was going ask you to prom" I said softly.

"Prom? Like an actually real prom?" He asked.

"Yes, here at the hospital" I replied.

"I will be there" he said smoothly. He placed a kiss on my lips. It was longer this time. When the kiss was over he left to get himself ready.

"Save it for the bedroom Grey!" Addison chuckled seriously.

"Yeah, yeah Montgomery" I replied.

The prom was going smoothly. Everyone was dancing, eating, drinking punch, and teenagers wee sucking each other's faces off like their lives depended on it.

"I'm gonna go get us some punch, be back in a sec babe" Finn said walking to the snack table.

"Okay" I replied. A moment later he returned with two shot classes of punch. A slow song began to play and we started to dance in the sway of the music.

"Maybe when this is over we can go back to my place and watch that movie I was talking about"  he said.

"Yeah, that sounds nice" I replied. I rested my head on his shoulder as we swayed gracefully along with the music. Ironically Derek and Addison were in eyes view of me. When they turned they had bothered been staring at me and Finn dancing. More do me. I pulled away from

"You Alright?" Finn asked.

"Y-yeah, I just, uh claustrophobic, I'm going to go splash some cold water on my face" I said. I rushed upstairs and headed to an empty exam room. I sat up on the table facing away from the door. The door swung open and then closed. "I can't stand it when you stare at me, and I can't stand when she stares at me" I said not turning to face him. I heard his footsteps get closer.

"Do you think that either of us want to look at you?" Addison asked. I turned to face her. "I wish that I didn't turn to face you every time I saw you or felt your presence in the room" she added. She stepped closer to me.

"So don't look at me, look at someone else" I said s little seductively.

"It's too hard when you are so fucking hot" she said rushing towards me placing a hot, steamy, and passionate  kiss on my lips. It felt so right, and I enjoyed every moment of the kiss.
