𝖳𝖾𝗇~Do you want a dog?

Meredith's Pov

The rest of the day, oddly, flew by quickly. I was glad when the hour hand hit eight because I was going home to see my dog, and of corse Izzie and George. My phone started ringing. It was Izzie.

"This dog needs to go!" She yelled. "He has peed all over the house, be chewed up my laundry, I can't deal with him anymore!" She roared.

"I-okay I will find him a home" I said softly but firmly.

"You better, or else he is going back to the shelter" she said harshly.

"You can't send him back, they'll kill him!" I said harshly before hanging up.

"You okay Grey?" Addison asked as she walked out of the hospital.

"Yeah I-, do you guys want a dog?" I asked.

"A dog Meredith?" Derek asked. I rolled my eyes.

"We can't keep him and he can't go back to the shelter" I said.  The exchanged looks and talked for s moment.

"Yeah, should we come-"Addison started.

"I'll drop him and his things off later, and his name is Doc" I said firmly as I cut her off. I quickly sped home and gathered Doc and all of this belongings.

"You already found him a home?" Izzie asked. I nodded.

"Can we go for the ride?" George asked.

"Yes, you can all come" I said. "Are you ready for you new home Doc?" I said in a voice people use on young Children.

"Who is taking him?" They asked in unison. I stayed quiet as a rubbed Doc's belly. We all piled into the car and drove out to the woods.

"Doesn't Derek love in the woods?" George asked. I nodded, not that he could see. We parked the car and both Shepherds' emerged from the trailer.

"Hi Doc, hi puppy" Addison cooed as the dog walked over to her.

"Thank you for taking the dog for us" I said.

"Sure, and you can come visit him whenever you want" Derek said. Not Addison and I stared up at him with horrified looks.

"T-that won't be necessary, he is your dog now" I said softly.

"He's your dog too" Addison said. I shook my head.

"No, he is your dog. Not mine" I said. I turned and walked to my car giving them all a wave. Doc wondered as I got into the car without him.

"It's okay Doc" Addison reassured him. They all walked back into the trailer as we pulled out of the drive way. I felt like crying. She had my McDreamy and now my McDog. She has everything that I want.
