Special Chapter: Broken Friendship

Riley's POV.

So here I am right now at my bedroom, Im already done sa pag aayos ng mga gagamitin ko for tommorow's promotion ng bago naming album but I can't sleep, what's wrong with me?

So I decided to head downstairs to grab a glass of milk.

I went to the stairs to go to the kitchen to grab the carton of milk, pour a glass and take it with me upstairs until I noticed na bukas ang kwarto ni Leckie.

for an unknown reason I head there to see what he's up to and not surprisingly he's doing his gift for James, I was about to leave when he called me.

"Riley" he said in gentle manner which for me was the first time kasi he always yell at me whenever he talks towards me. which I find it weird kasi diba boss nya ako, so weird.

"Yes?" walang gana kong saad.

"Halika dito sandali dali" excited nyang saad.

And just like what he said I entered his room and with me was a glass of milk that is still left untouched.

"Pfffft! ano ka bata? ahahaha" he said to me.

"The heck? is that the reason why you called me?" naiirita kong saad.

"Choss...to naman warshock agad.. KPL ka Qhourl?" pambabara nito sa akin.

"Ewan ko sayo bahala ka sa buhay mo." sabi ko at akmang aalis na.

"Eto naman ang bilis magalit, sige ka papangit ka kaagad" sabi nya sakin.

"Im sorry pero pag pangit was never an option to me, baka sayo pa kasi nasa genes ko na ang pagiging gwapo." mapangasar kong saad sa kanya.

"Ay Genes lang? Sana nakikita din sa mukha..Chaaaarrr, eto na nga tatanungin sana kita kung sa tingin mo magugustuhan to ni James." sagot nya at ipinakita nya ang portrait ni James, sketch pa lang yun pero I can say that It was good.

"We'll maybe yes, maybe no, why do you keep on asking my opinion eh hindi naman ako si James." sabi ko sa kanya at umupo sa kama nya.

"Syempre sino pa ang tatanungin ko e diba bestfriends kayo." sagot nito sa akin.

"Former.... bestfriends okay," sagot ko sa kanya at ininum na yung gatas na hawak ko.

"Kahit na "Former" bestfriends kayo imposibleng wala kang alam tungkol sa kanya." pamimilit nito.

"Teka nga, bakit nga ba kayo nagkagalit ni James ano bang naging dahilan bakit kayo nagkagalit?" usisa nito.

At since di naman ako makatulog I decided to tell Leckie the story of me, James and our broken friendship.

"Fine, you wanna know why, listen cause I won't repeat a single thing, pasalamat ka at di ako makatulog.

Sabi ko at nag-umpisa nang magkwento.

Flashback

It was a hot summer day I think I was seven years old, I finished playing at the park at our subdivision when suddenly a car stopped infront of me.

"Riley? is that you?" a lady inside the car asked.

How on earth did she know my name?

"Y-yes Im Riley po, and you are?" I asked the lady.

"Oh you probably forget about me I can't blame you, I've been in states for 6 years, the last time that I saw you e nung birthday mo pa, you were a cute little baby back then but now look at you you're now grown up and so handsome by the way, I am your Tita Raquel. Come inside big boy let me give you a ride home.
